This is probably Winston-Salem's biggest Gamestop store. It also probably is the most crowded and usually the busiest. While I love this place and have frequented it many times in the past, I have to say that waiting over fifteen minutes in line is pretty ridiculous when there's only one other person ahead of you (if you don't count the one guy and wife that had a whole bunch of kids and cut in front). They really need to divide it up so that trades and purchasing are two different lines and if you want to do both, you have to go to the trade line. There are plenty of Gamestops around now so the only reason I even bother with this location is because of when I'm in the vicinity. Anyhow... if you've got time to kill, look around this on a weekend. Otherwise, I'd probably suggest going to another location. read more

Mike was very rude to me as I was paying for my purchases with my 37 year old autistic son. He was about to give me his spiel and I was in a hurry and told him no. He told me not to interrupt him. He was slovenly dressed with a cap on his head. I have been a pro-member since 2010. He was trying to get me to sign back up but I didn't get 10 percent off of my purchases. I asked about the magazine. He said to get them mailed to the house it would cost $5.00 extra. Well he was so rude and had no enthusiasm that I refused to renew my membership. He kept telling me that it was free. I told him I only kept up the membership for the magazine because my son likes to get mail. I had already spent over 85.00 what was 5.00 more. I didn't renew because of Mike. Everyone that has ever worked in that store has always been pleasant and super helpful. Mike reacted like he didn't want to help us at all! We are a family of color and with the world as it is today, I am always aware of bigotry. Mike may not be a bigot but he sure fit the profile. I won't shop there again. read more

I'm just tryna stay sane and not go crazy during quarantine and ordered a game online to pick up by door at this location and he has the audacity to ask me "did you even see if we have it in stock in our store?" Condescending attitude was unnecessary. I was polite when i called after my order was placed. Like isn't it your job to keep stock of inventory in your store? Just take 5 steps to the shelf and see if that its there. Your store isnt big so i know it's not that big of a inconvenience to you. It's not like you have customers walking in as the doors are locked. Idk his name as he wasn't wearing his name badge. He was very rude over the phone. As he asked me questions he could've answered himself. "Did you see if we even have it stock?...." umm that's literally YOUR job as a gamestop employee to see if its there. Also his breath smelled like salmon and coffee when i picked up the game at the door.
