They people that work there are sweet and kind and they have a variety of games,gaming clothing,gaming accessories,game Figures, and game cosmetics. Overall Great Store but I would recommend going to the one at Valdosta mall because they have a wider variety but the customer service is still great read more

I use to like Gamestop, truly I did. They had a large selection of used games,staff was friendly, and if they messed up they were quick to help out and go above and heyond but those days are gone. Yea sure they still have a large selection of games in stock but JHC charging almost new prices for used games? Why buy a used game when the new is only a couple dollars more. Trade in values are a joke. It's so bad it makes you feel like you're on an episode of Pawn Stars. "Oh hey I see you brought in GTA V bro. I can give you $2, a movie poster from "Battlefield Earth", and some skittles I found in pocket BUT you have to give me the lint." Then turn around and sell it for almost new. Oh and don't have a problem such as an invalid code or anything because they have no clue how to fix it but damned if they won't try and sell you on every one of the 1000 special offers and plans or pre-orders. Lastly is the staff. All the other BS aside they USE to have good people but seems they all left. Now they're left with neck bearded mouth breathers who feel the need to belittle my 5 year old for being excited about video games. Yea... they made fun of him and talked crap because he was trying to find a video game on his birthday. All the while the punks at the register were snorting and making fun of him for getting excited over various games, yea sure the games may have not been tier 1 titles but FFS he's 5 and he's going off of pictures on boxes. Wow, where can I begin? Let's see....we brought our son in to purchase a PS4 for a gift to him and had such a horrible experience. So, as we all know, some of us have chips in our card and the new machines require us to insert the card. We did that, and it was declined. The idiot told us to swipe two more times to see if it would go through, and we did. To make a long story short, we ended up walking to the ATM to find out that it was out of order. So, in a desperate attempt to make sure he got his PS4, went to a couple more ATM machines. For some reason, we could not get money out. Oh, let's check our account. Three transactions were made totaling a fee of $1200. Yeah, that's not change and we got charged three times. We contacted the manager, went back into the store and they were not helpful at all. Yes, we were told we would get the transactions reversed and they would show up in our account....3-5 business days later. How is that helpful? Some people don't make that money in a month. I do not recommend them, as we have been long term customers, and I would stay away if you have a chip in your card. Wal-Mart is next door, might as well go there. Never had a problem with them.
