My grandsons birthday is coming up all he wants are games. His fa price store is Game Stop. I stopped by there today to get gift cards and was told they ran out. How the heck do you run out of gift cards?! There is always the alternative of a handwritten gift certificate, but none was offered. So the store lost hundreds of dollars today. Too bad. read more

Absolutely awful! I bought two used ps4 controllers about 2 or 3 months ago. I hardly play video games because I work a lot. But I do enjoy sitting down and playing when I have free time. But thanks to gamestop that won't happen. I pay over $110 for both of these controllers only to find out both are faulty. The one constantly hold down the "L2" button and isn't usable. And the other constantly says a mix is connected/unconnected the entire time you use it. Also taking the sound from my tv to the imaginary headset. GameStop is selling used controllers for more than Walmart sells a brand new one. When I call or talk to the staff at GameStop their literal words are "I don't know what I can do for you". Wow what help you are. It a fact neither of the controllers were tested before hitting shelf's. They can claim they do but it'd clearly be a lie. Thank you GameStop for wasting over 100 bucks for garbage that doesn't work. And thanks so much for the great customer service you provide. Horrible management, pressured me into buying a reward card, I paid for a year and I've been in twice with in that year and my card doesn't work 'must be a glitch' they tell me, so I paid for the discount card. They steal money. They sell fake discs. They give u cheaper prices and push you to buy extra stuff. This one GameStop has made me decide to never shop at a GameStop like that again. My friends and I ordered a pre-used wii remote controller and it didn't work. The remote cost around $25 and seemed in good shape... so we ordered two and once we opened them one was broken. We bought Mario party 10 and once we got home we took it out of the bag and put it by the Wii U. Once we put the game in the console it instantly said the disc was unreadable. We attempted to fix it several different ways by turning it off and on again, cleaning the disc, and even updating the Wii U. This experience has mad me very unhappy and I recommend that you do not shop at this GameStop. read more

We called the place asking if they had a Mario kart wii game that we have been dying to have since our broke, the worker said yes. We drove THIRTY MINUTES, and when we got there he said he miss spoke and that they did not have a copy....he never checked when we called and he said they had it in a preowned copy.
