I've actually got Starbucks and brought it here. Ordered something from the sweets counter just so they won't throw me out. Their sweets are bearable. I've had better, but hey it's Henry county ppl and for a weeknight outing I'll take it. The customer service-I've never had inconsistent customer service here until Sunday night. Yesterday. I had been in late (20 min till close) and after the final announcement I took my books to register. I stood there with no one else in line and waited 5 minutes before anyone said anything even though there were 3 employees behind counter. The manager appeared to be closing a register. The girl that had been staring at me within that time finally said are you ready. Acting dumb like she hadn't seen me. She then said her register was close and pointed me to the manager who finally noticed I was there. Miraculously. He said his registered was closed and told me to go to the cafe. I would like to point out how they looked at me like why are you still here. Gtfa. Rude folks that night. Except for the girl in cafe who waited on me. She just seemed spaced out. In another world.

While I understand that employees deserve breaks, it was disappointing to see the store closed in the middle of the afternoon on a weekend -- especially without additional staff available to keep the store open. Since I had made such a long drive, I decided to walk around the mall to pass the time rather than waste the trip. About 30 minutes later, I called the store to check if they were still on lunch before walking back. The associate who answered the phone had an unpleasant attitude and informed me she had 30 minutes left on her break. I politely told her to enjoy her lunch and that I would return shortly. While waiting, I observed several other customers approach the store, attempt to open the door, and leave visibly frustrated. It's unfortunate that there wasn't adequate staffing to prevent closing during peak weekend hours, and the customer service over the phone added to the disappointment. I hope management can address staffing and customer service concerns moving forward, as this experience was frustrating and not what I expected.
