There's really no need to make a long review here because this isn't a store that I frequent. My experience at this Gamestop is mediocre at best because the sale associates aren't that helpful, they stand behind the counter talking amongst themselves and not providing customer service other than saying welcome to Gamestop. The last time I was here, they didn't even acknowledge me and while I'm browsing the different sections, they didn't bother to ask if I needed any help. However, when another person came in who didn't look the way that I looked, they greeted them warmly and asked them if they needed any help, made suggestions and went out of their way to make sure this customer was satisfied. First time being at this store, no customers present when we came in and left. Only came here because it was on our way to our destination. Friendly service from the guy working but the girl that handled our trade-in could have been nicer with less attitude. I asked a simple question since this was my first time trading in a system. I really wish I knew the gamestop associate name because he was very knowledgeable to my situation. I have been to another gamestop on Woodlawn and they I'm sorry to say didn't know a lick of what I needed. Now gamestop has a rewards program which I am a basic members and to be a pro member you need to pay $14.99 for the year and pay annually. As a gamer I can really put the pro membership to use but played it smart. As a free basic member I shop at gamestop enough to accumulate a free year subscription which I acquired with my points. The associates at Woodlawn explained that the purchase was active as soon as I placed the order online missing to inform me that the associate was supposed to input the coupon code in order to activate. Thank you to this associate which knew exactly how the whole reward program works and being knowledgable. read more
