I got 10 bucks out of a whole stack of movies and manga and was told I could have gotten 50 bucks store credits showing how they KNOW their cash back prices are awful. Mind you these weren't obscure or poor quality, they were recent movies like Batman 2022 and popular mangas like Tokyo Ghoul. On top of that, they are the most sexist and transphobic people I've ever had the misfortune of shopping from. A friend of mine had to quit because they were told they lived in a fantasy world after being asked their pronouns. On top of that, if you're a woman that works there, you won't get a raise when all the men at the store do. I got less than a dollar out of all I gave them (about 10 movies and 10 manga) and I know for a fact they sell manga for 3 dollars a piece. Total scammers. Do not shop here.

The selection for used single issue comics is massive, but the selection for new releases as well as trades is always very limited, so if there is something specific you want, it's best to add it to a pull list otherwise you miss out. The prices on everything is usually pretty good, but be wary on some of the singles. It's not very often that a single is outwardly expensive compared to its market price, but every now and then you may overpay. Im a seasoned collector, but if I look at the business from the point of view as a new comic book collector, I would say that the shop could use a bit of growing. The staff, as I said, is very friendly, but they could definitely do a bit better at making conversation easier with new faces. Overall, I think if you're new to collecting, just go inside and ask questions. Be honest and say you don't know what you're doing. Several of them will be more than happy to help. Finally, I would like to see a more expansive selection of trades. When I used to go there, there was always 2-3 shelves full of trades and now it's one manga and one trades. I love manga, but there are trades I'd really rather buy from a small business instead of going to say Barnes and noble.

Within the last five times I've tried to go to this particular location. It will tell me it is open online well beyond the hours. It's supposedly says it's opened and I will pull up to it, and the gate will be down and no one inside or they will be inside, but the gates and doors locked.

He gossips about employees, shows blatant favoritism, all while acting like customers are an inconvenience. The store itself is filthy, unorganized, and full of broken arcade machines, and everything is wildly overpriced -- often 40-50% above market value. They even try to bribe customers with a "10% discount" if you leave them a five-star review, which is laughable because 10% barely touches their inflated prices. This shop feels dishonest and sketchy from top to bottom, and it's clear the manager's behavior is the main problem. Save your time and money -- there are far better places to shop than this mess.

We each picked up one ETB from the shelf (no signs saying not to) and told people ahead of us we'd give them up if needed. Instead of addressing the harassment or the group that cleared the shelves, the cashier falsely claimed she had asked my fiancée for hers back (she hadn't), then escalated and kicked us out right before our turn.
