It don't matter if they are new dents and scratches can be on the steelbooks. We were going to buy them but with mason keep shrugging his shoulders and saying he didn't care that they might lose out on a sale we decide to not get them. We have never been treated has bad has we were that day. And Brianne never once has had a problem with letting us look at the movies out of the hard plastic. Called corp and he the guy that took my call said he watched the video and never once saw the associates do anything wrong. But when i said so you never saw Mason shrugging his shoulders he was like yea i did. We were going to spend over 100$ that day alone and he only offerd a 5$ coupon, today when i called he said i was asking for free movies never once did i say that. Told him to quit putting words in my mouth and he said ok ill give you 10$ credit. He even said the store mgr had tried calling me to apolgize and to welcome us back but she has not once tried calling us. I said i can go back on my call log and even prove that he said he would contact the mgr again and have her call me, we will see if that happens.

How do you not keep games that are definite sellers in-stock? This goes for Skylanders, Disney Infinity, Amiibo and various other things. The classic games are cool but you won't get much in trade unless you know what you have. They can rip people off but it depends who does the trade. If they can get away with low balling you they will. Before they reopened again they had closed down. Almost every worker there had left or got "fired". To be honest, I don't think the owners know what they're doing. I honestly have no idea how they didn't stay closed. It's just not a great place.

The store has a super cool vibe that I haven't found in any other record store even in San Antonio where I now live. Also very unique that you can have them build you a system if you desire an upgrade from a standard turntable. I tell people all over San Antonio that it's worth the drive to come see these guys and get back to how music is supposed to sound! Record Guys helped calm my craving to dig recently…read more I hadn't been in a record shop since I left L.A. during the summer of 2022! This Abilene-based shop had two of the nicest guys - a father-son duo - working the front when I was there (11/21/2023). The dad pointed out the mural on the wall outside before I walked inside. Gave me some insight about the local artist who painted it. Inside you'll find mostly 33s, but there's more... to 45s to CDs to VHSs and tapes, posters, speakers, record players, memorabilia... Ya know, I didn't see much blues. That was the only pitfall for me. I was stoked when the dad, a former schoolteacher, mentioned the NEW Billy Idol Christmas record I snatched was really good. "He's a real crooner on this one..." And that's why I love record shops. Check out their Black Friday sale... I'm missing out some really good deals, but that's life.

I was visiting Abilene from out of state and wanted to visit a local bookstore. I am SO glad I…read morechose this one! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked if we needed help finding anything. I asked about anything written by local authors and the staff IMMEDIATELY led me around the store to about 5 different options. I chose a couple of those suggestions and a few other books after browsing around myself, including a "blind date" book. I think the blind date book was offered for a great price. The vibe inside was also just very cute and I will definitely come back when I visit again in the future!
