I normally use Gamestation for my gaming needs but was looking for a much older rarer game so though i would give it a whirl. The pre-owned games are very well priced and the hold a lot of PC games which seems to be a rarity in most game shops nowadays. The staff are very friendly and were a great help. They were very knowledge about the stock they hold and were quickly able to deal with my query.

They won't try and rip you off or get you to buy the most expensive games, most times they will offer you a cheaper second had copy if they have one in stock, and if you ask them they will give you an honest opinion about a game if it's not a good game they will tell you! (i think the philosopy is if you buy a game you like your'e far more likely to go back! Massive choice of titles as well!

Quite a small narrow shop and could do with a bit more lighting, but they have quite a good selection of games and will order you titles that they don't have in stock. You probably have to pay £5-£10 more than you would online, I went in there today and spent £85, realising on the way out that I could have saved £20 if I'd bought from Amazon, but sometimes it's good to know that you're feeding a small business.

He is a legend in his own right in Greasby! They rent DVDs, computer games, sell clothes, do photocopying, sell sweets, crisps etc. everything to keep them in business since DVDs became so cheap to buy online, but they are surviving and have great offers like 3 DVDs for £5 for 2 or 3 nights which is a decent deal by anyones standards. Great little shop which you can park right outside of!

I don't mean it flogs normal stuff in the sense of giving normal things a good flogging, beating and pummeling, but rather it flogs normal stuff in the sense of selling and vending it. Oh you already knew what I meant? Sorry. Anyway it sells chocolates, soft drinks, newspapers and ice creams. Woo!

It's a fairly known off license shop which is frequented by many in Rusholme area who're probably put off by Spar's pricey-ness. It does soft drinks, chocolates and crisps/ice creams, even newspapers quite like a newsagent in that respect.
