We were immediately greeted and placed in a line for temperature checks and then to show our online tickets. The woman then asked for an ID and credit card. No idea why they needed that given that we already purchased tickets but we only had a credit card. We left our ID in the hotel. She eventually gave up on the ID. The park was very empty when we got there so we walked around to check it out. The ziplines opened at 10:20 but they let us fill out waivers and then come back. We noticed people claiming tables with their belongings so we jumped in and did the same. It was very cloudy and drizzling which made the cold water not super fun. We ended up riding the ziplines and then the two tube rides. We didn't buy a ticket for my daughter because we weren't sure if she was y'all enough to ride the rides. They were pretty inconsistent in enforcing the height requirements. There were very small kids riding the ziplines but they had wristbands. My daughter didn't have wristbands but was allowed to ride the water rides. I'm grateful because MANY other things were closed. And that is one of our biggest complaints...things were closed!!! I even chatted with someone via text on their website prior to purchasing and they stated that everything was currently open in the park. The only thing open by the zipline was the zipline itself. The arcade area was totally closed due to covid. The carousel and swings were closed. There was a rope walk with water buckets that was closed. The water slides were about all open and they were lots of fun. We didn't do the body slides because it was so cold and we didn't want to get that wet. The food was just alright. We all found something that we would eat. They had burgers, hot dogs,, chicken nuggets, Mac and cheese, fries, pork tacos and a cold pasta.. We did the alcohol pass. There is only one bar that you can go to and then you can get beer in the main restaurant. Of course they serve very cheap liquor, which wasn't surprising. That may be what's causing my headache right now. I don't think we will be going out of our way to come back but maybe in half priced Wednesdays.

If anyone wants to visit a dying water park, this is it!…read more More than half of the attractions were closed on a Saturday in June. It looked like there wasn't anywhere near enough staff to open the rides. All of Aaahventura was closed the entire day except for the zip line for 1 hour. They'll tell you to keep coming back later in the day (4pm) so they can get one large group in, then shut the ride down again. All of the large water slides were closed. I've never seen an empty lazy river in the middle of summer until I came here. You have to rent inner tubes for $150 MXN so anyone who ventured in there just swam it and ignored all the signs saying not to do that. The lifeguard was cool about it. Don't waste your time at this park unless you're getting free tickets and you can drive out of there once you've had enough!
