I ordered a PS4 pro from them and what they sent wasnt tested and was total mess. The PS4 Pro wasnt cleaned so the fans were as loud as a plane landing. Before equipment goes out it needs to be tested and CLEANED with a compressor and opened up to check the parts - none of that was done. Plus I got an old sticky worn controller and a cream colored short computer cable for the controller?? Everything was suppose to black and the cord should be 10ft. I had this machine for 2 days and realized it was junk and no quality checks were done on it before shipping it out. I went into the Mayfair and the manager was so helpful, he exchanged everything with an explanation of how it should run and sound. He personally tested my new unit. The controller seems new, the cable is black sturdy and 10ft but the best part is the machine is AWESOME !! Ive been playing it now for 4 hours and its quiet as mouse! I trust this store, they know what they are talking about. So happy now!!

Ended up buying about 10 records and found some really amazing and a couple rare releases. They have tons of new sealed albums, somewhat limited on used, but the new stuff is great. I found an excellent selection of rock, blues, jazz, and country/folk. I'll definitely be going back again, there's plenty of stuff I had to leave behind because I was spending too much money. Hopefully some of it's there on my next trip. Store staff is knowledgeable and really friendly too. It's a mixed income neighborhood, and they're friendly, caring, and helpful to anyone who walks in for any reason. Plenty of street parking and a small lot in the back of the store. The store is clean, big, well sorted. Prices are pretty average, but there's some good deals as well on overstocks and ding/dents. They weren't gouging like some of the other stores in town. Definitely my favorite store I visited on this Milwaukee trip. Looks like they had a lot of stereo equipment, CDs, accessories and maybe movies? I reached my limit and made a hasty escape with only a couple bucks left in my wallet.

During my most recent visit I felt insulted by what they offered in trade for six of my GBA games that Price Charting had valued at $154 (they offered $65 which is only 42% of the value). Just the day before, a store in Appleton offered me $50 in trade for the highest value game by itself (I didn't have the other five with me and only decided to trade all six while I was there). Needless to say, I left with my games and without the console I wanted to trade for, which was also priced higher than at the store in Appleton. The lack of other quality options in Milwaukee dictates that I can't completely rule out going to Game Together MKE again and that's probably why they price things the way they do. I wish there were other options in Milwaukee or that they treated their customers with more respect.

Me and my brother both were excited about this, and so we went together one day to check it out. I would say they had a pretty cool selection, however that is about where the positives stop. My brother noticed one of the limited edition N64 controllers (jungle green if you must know) paired with a regular N64 console behind the front desk. My brother was ecstatic about this, as he has a jungle green N64 but does not have a matching controller for it. He asked if they would be able to separate the jungle green controller from the regular N64 and he could purchase the controller itself. They said they wouldn't be able to do that. We thought that was kind of ridiculous since they had other normal n64 controllers they could've paired with the n64, but whatever. I ended up purchasing a Batman game for the Sega Genesis as well as a Sega Genesis Controller, and my brother purchased a copy of Frogger for the Gameboy color. When I got home, I immediately tried to play the batman game, and it wouldn't boot. I pulled it out and cleaned it, noticing that the connector pins were filthy and obviously hadn't been cleaned by the business before they put it on the shelf. After cleaning, it booted fine. I then tried to use the controller. The controller, also, did not work properly, and half the buttons felt sticky. I opened the controller and it very clearly had had some sticky liquid spilled into it at some point. Even after cleaning the controller still did not function correctly. This isnt really my experience nor my purchase, but I thought I should note that my brother's frogger game was also filthy and even after cleaning still did not boot. There is clearly terrible quality control at this business, and they don't actually test or clean their equipment/games before selling them. I will not be returning to this business.

They helped me with the letters and colors and I got a free caboose with each name train. Saved $30 going to a locally owned store rather than using a certain website for these personalized gifts. and then they wrapped them and put them in mailing boxes for me. Such personalized service...refreshing!
