I called and asked about dollar bins--they said they had a small one. When I arrived, the guy behind the counter (possibly the owner) was friendly and pointed me right to it. My son browsed their huge collection of Funko Pops while I dug through the small dollar bin--only about 20 comics--but they also had tons of back issues, exclusive variants, and current titles. The store was clean, well-organized, and clearly active with customers and collectors. The staff were making fair deals on comics and cards. A great little spot--I'd visit again and highly recommend!

Lots of limited edition Pops and varient edition comic books will have you walking out with a lot more than you anticipate! Funko prices are great and Pokémon TCG prices are also extremely fair. This place was hands down the BEST Gundam shopping experience I've ever had in person. I have been…read moreto several retail stores in almost every city I travel to in the US looking for different kits to fill my collection. Gundam Kingdom is definitely at the top of my list! They are one of the only stores I've come across that is exclusively dedicated to Gunpla kits and tools. They DEFINITELY stock their shelves very well, and have competitive prices compared to many other model suppliers! If it weren't for the fact that I live almost 2,000 miles away, I would be in this store literally every week. That being said, I will share what I encountered on my visit here because I really want to see this business grow! More details below... Shopping experience: My shopping experience here was more than enjoyable. Walking in, you will see their well-stocked shelves in the center surrounded by display cases aplenty. A lot of what they have for sale they also have built and on display. That is definitely a plus for the fellow builder who likes to see examples before deciding to buy. They have a lot of kits that other places just don't seem to get their hands on, even stuff that is perpetually out-of-stock online. I was nearly overwhelmed with their selection in the best of ways! Staff: Their staff is one of the friendliest in the business. I've never felt more welcomed to browse in a store that deals in Gunpla. They will even strike up a conversation with you and speak humbly about their projects and interests (even though it's apparent that a lot of the awesome custom work you see on display is their own!) They know what they are talking about when it comes to building models. Their knowledge and welcome nature makes it very easy to approach them to ask any questions you may have! Price: Given the fact that they carry a lot of kits that are rare in most places, one would expect to have to spend a decent amount to acquire them. That is surely not the case here, as they carry nearly every kit at a competitive price compared to most other places, and even online! I was thoroughly impressed, and was able to leave the store with confidence that my money was well spent. Flexibility: If you happen to live out of state like I do, rest assured that you can place orders with them in a few different ways. They are reachable by phone, Instagram, and Facebook! Upon speaking with the people there, I learned that their presence on Facebook is very diligent about responding to customer feedback and inquiries. You can reach them very easily to have your needs met and orders fulfilled! Overall, this is one place I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I loved the whole vibe and feel the store had. The play area was just about the right size--not too big, not too small. It felt like the area could comfortably seat 8, maybe 10 Commander pods of 4 players. It felt cozy, like I was in my teens again playing some TCGs at a friend's house. The player base also seemed pretty nice from the people I got to interact with. I didn't really get to change up pods much, but that's more on me than a reflection of the store or its player base due to deck tweaking after a few good rounds. They did seem like they had a healthy little cEDH playgroup there too. Also, at one point, they handed out a free promo card, and I got a Retro Frame Syr Konrad, which was neat! And man, one thing I never even thought about judging a card shop on was how clean their bathrooms were... which, spoilers!!!! Were immaculate. I've never been in a storefront, let alone a card shop, with such a clean bathroom. Most card shop bathrooms look like they belong in a gymnasium. All in all, I'd definitely give this place a 10/10. If you're in the Spring, TX area and need a home TCG store for Tuesday Night Magic (EDH), I couldn't recommend this place more!

This is going to be a longer post but I wanted to share my experience. Before I do, I understand…read morethat this isn't everyones experience, just mine. I went to Cy-Tex gaming for the first time really excited looking for Pokemon and yugioh cards after someone recommended the store to me. I walked in and bought four cards and continued to look around the store with my purchased cards. The employee expressed to me that service would be slow because he was the only one working today. While looking around, the employee went to the other half of the store while I continued to browse. From the back, another older employee came out and hovered around my general area near the front counter. After I finished looking, I moved over to the other half of the store with the cards I had purchased. I put them in my pocket and moved on to join the first employee. When I went to the other half of the store to browse for pokemon cards, the older second employee followed me. I didn't think much of it until he followed me around to every part of the store. I noticed that his eyes were glued on to me everywhere I went. It eventually became clear to me that I was being followed. I continued to browse the store and different aisles as he continued to follow me with his eyes and moved to where he could see me. Eventually, after I finished looking I returned to the front half of the store and waited to purchase a Yugioh EBT box. While I was waiting in line I heard the second older employee tell the first that I had put cards in my pocket. At this point, I got my digital receipt ready to show. Sure enough, when it was my turn to check out he told me that his boss saw me put cards into my pockets and needed to see them to verify that I had purchased my cards. I showed him the four cards I had purchased, and he shouted out to his boss that he could confirm that I purchased all four cards. To conclude, after 15-20 minutes of following me around both halves of the store and through some aisles, rather than ask me if I had purchased the cards he just assumed I was stealing them and had the first employee ask me to show the cards in my pockets to verify that I purchased them and had not stolen them. After verifying that I only had the cards that I bought when I first went up to the register the second older employee laughed it off and tried to awkwardly play it off. Like I said, I know this isn't everyone's experience, just mine. I went into the store so excited for all the cards, pokemon, and yugioh. I never thought that I would be treated to feel as if I was stealing or was a criminal. Despite all this, it is a great store filled with a variety of items and things. I do plan on returning and hope for a different experience.
