the folks in there seemed nice, offered help but weren't overbearing and were very approachable. the selection was a mix of trading card games, board games, dungeons and dragons/warhammer, and some other stuff as well. i went to look at board games, and the ones they had were a bit pricey but they did have a sizable discount section (though these were mostly expansion packs). they didn't have many "traditional" board games (e.g. sorry, trivial pursuit, party games like cards against humanity, etc.) but such games are easily found elsewhere so i didn't think that was a problem. they had games that seemed to be aimed at kids too, which was nice. as a woman it didn't feel uncomfortable or not inclusive the way some game-oriented spaces do. they also had tables for table top games, and a totally separate area for DnD campaigns! honestly my only complaint was that there weren't more games out! i would've loved to see a "staff picks" or "beginner recommendations" section since i'm not super familiar with more complex board games. read more
