The kids were talking to the owners about card games and she asked if they had ever played MAGIC and they said no, so she gave them each a free deck and talked to them about it. My husband seemed to feel impressed by the inventory of merchandise. We saw vintage video-game systems from Nintendo, Gameboy, Sega Genesis, XBox, and PlayStation. We saw toys such as stuffed animals, action figures, board games, costumes, Warhammer, and much more. My husband found a door mat that he liked. While their selection is decent, the prices are pretty much all on par with or higher than what you can expect to find online for the same items. This is pretty typical for local game shops so I don't hold that against them. However, what was weird was as soon as we walked in, we were apparently on a livestream they were doing. That's kind of weird to be filmed immediately upon entering a business, particularly with no written warning outside. We still walked around inside (thankfully mostly out of camera range), but the employees seemed very intent on their stream and keeping things "interesting" with their commentary. It was overall a pretty off-putting experience, despite the fact that their business otherwise seemed like a cool addition to the local business environment. I would consider returning here again in the future to give them another try, though I have to state the obvious: first impressions are important, and running a business still remains more about the customers in your store than your following online. Go Gamer is a multipurpose shop located in the Uniontown Mall, use the mall entrance closest to the…read moreformer Sears. They now occupy two storefronts, with each having different merchandise. The original store has a nice selection of video games and Pop Vinyl's; among all the items they offer. Staff were cool to chat with and very down to earth. The new second storefront located next door offers a different experience. This is being setup as a card gaming space with tables and video gaming space with TVs. They have a stock of figurines and comic books, and it was worth stopping in to browse. Go Gamer also has a space in the Laurel Mall/Plaza Flea Market that's open a limited number of days per week. Overall, Go Gamer is a quality shop that runs below the radar in some ways that's very much worth a stop.

That's what got us, we saw a few things that we wanted to see more of. There are multiple aisles of glass cases filled with every console ever made. Mixed in in those cases are games for each of those consoles. Also, there are a few other things that I don't even remember. Being that the items were in glass cases it almost felt like we were in a gaming museum. Especially after seeing some of the prices for some of the consoles. A lot of them are more expensive than when they were first released. I can see some of the variations of systems being expensive, but almost all of them were a bit too much. After scoping out the merchandise we were back out into the mall. Especially since the employees inside seemed to be amazingly bored and couldn't be bothered to look up from behind the counter.

After making a purchase in FYE on Nov 5, 2016…read morein Morgantown Mall, suddenly today, Dec 7, 2016, I noticed a $11.99 charge on my debit card to FYE in Albany NY. This is total fraud and I have turned them into my bank's fraud dept. Apparently the store clerks take your debit card info and sign you up for a subscription to some membership program without the cardholder's permission. Plus it is a monthly charge, thank God I noticed it right away. This is illegal and evil. I will never shop this store again.
