I called the shop this afternoon looking for a part for a used bike I bought this morning. The guy…read morethat answered the phone helped me determine what I needed by interpreting "dohickey" and "thingamajig". He identified the crank arm I needed and checked inventory. He confirmed the price. I told him I'd be there after lunch. About an hour and a half later I drove the 35 miles and walked in with the stripped crank arm in my hand. He had the new one at the desk. Unfortunately I forgot my wallet, but he was able to take a credit card over the phone from my wife. He even put the old pedal on the new crank arm for me. Great service. Very friendly.

Jake came out and in seconds it was fixed.The next day when my husband was goint to go ride,It would not even start. 1 WEEK later we recieved a bill for the ''CHAIN being put on track" IT WAS ALMOST $200.00!!!!! I was insulted,as he NEVER said that would be the cost.I was stunned when I emailed him and asked why so much He got defencive and stated he told us that is what he charges...I know that we are very cautious when we spend in a luxury.As my jusband is very economicly conservative,he would not do that without a discussion. I was very respectful and he became indignant,and said, that he was charging the fee anyways.It was so much to do a seconds work.He said the bikes are $$$$$$$ so is everything else so much because I sell $$$$$bikes.He did not care that after he left it did not even start! Really, don't you think it was common sence to just allow it to start.I spoke about my years of owning a retail store, and I was so successful becaise not only was I talented.I was never rude or dismissive to a client if they needed anything.When we sell anything thats only a small part,of having 1 sale or getting many!REFERALS ARE A RETAILERS STRONGEST TOOL IN NARKETING He ended up simply acting as if we were being needy and demanding.Stand behind the items you sell.Never argue and act justified in exploiting a vulnerable adult! I call that "cutting off your nose to spite your face. Too bad, I was going to also going to buy a bike,but now? NO. Six friends rented a four seater and a two seater and went off on what we thought would be a fun…read moreand leisurely ride down the Paul Bunyan Trail. It was definitely fun, but we also got a great workout! We pedaled over 5 miles on the trail, which was fairly level, but certainly did have some inclines and declines. The man who set us up was super friendly and accommodating. Two of us are on the short side, so he added a block to our pedals, which really helped. I definitely recommend!

We biked from Nisswa to Pequot Lakes (7 miles?) and from there to the fire tower. Did the fire tower, had lunch in Pequot and then biked back. As we were there getting set up, he had customers, young and old, from the community come in for service, bikes and apparel, and some for general bike advice. Everyone seemed to feel very comfortable in the shop and he treated everyone very respectfully. It just opened in March 2015 and I really hope they get a lot of area business! Incredible people own this small cycle and awesome coffee shop! They make me smile each time I've…read morevisited and they truly show their care as they prepare each coffee order and/or greet folks and help get them what they need. We purchased a gift card for our son's bday, as he's a cyclist and could benefit from some of the gear they sell. We've gotten coffee a few times too, both drip coffee and several prepared coffee beverages (both hot & cold). Each one was very satisfying to those who ordered them.

If they don't know, they'll find the answer for you. Great selection of bikes, and the only place I could find quality steel frames (I don't like how hard aluminum rides) in Fargo. Touring, fixies, mountain bikes, full carbon racers, tandems... This place does it all. If you're a cyclist, or even just thinking of getting your kids their first bike, I highly recommend this place over the local sporting goods do-it-all store. The only do one thing, so they do it very well.
