Our one night stay in this atrocious establishment left us well over $1,000 poorer. Never have I…read morespent so much to stay in a barley heated room, broken showerhead, cracks in the walls, broken appliances, and dirt everywhere. Now we were under the false impression that we would be able to enjoy these luxurious accommidations for the bargain price of $85 dollars for the night. Unbeknownst to us, this price must have changed sometime over the eavening as the friendly staff then helped themselves to all the cash they could find in our room. When confronting the staff (directly after they had a child "cleaning our room" (and wallets)), we were then told that one of us staying in the room must have robbed ourselves. I understand how people can unknowingly rob themselves from time to time, but seeing as we were in the middle of a huge cross country trip and the money was to be spend on that, I found it hard to believe. We were "dared' to contact the police and told, "nothing will be done, what can they do, it was cash" If you find yourself moving through this area, I highly reccomend just scooching over to the next town to find a place to sleep.

This store has all sorts of coins, antique furniture & decorative items as well as jewelry. I was there for the jewelry. They have many estate pieces that are all meticulously documented and tagged so you can actually see the prices. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering many of the pieces are vintage. The owner was available without being pushy. When I asked to see a particular item, she was very accommodating and then would leave me alone while I pondered other pieces. God I loathe pushy sales people and there was none of that going on here. I finally decided on two lovely vintage pieces that did not leave me penniless. I was pleased. My only complaint is this establishment is 562 miles from my home. Dang it!

Great fishing (off the bridge), swimming, and relaxed vibe. We'll be back. The campground is very family-oriented with a strong sense of tradition. Sites are well maintained, and the lake access is excellent for swimming, boating, and fishing. It's not a resort-style campground, but a simple, peaceful place to enjoy the lake and spend time outdoors.
