The lack of communication was astounding to say the last as I had to be the one to reach out every single time over the two years my case lasted. The original paralegal working on my case left and it took multiple texts and emails of mine going to her unmanaged account before I was even told she left and that a new paralegal would be on my case. While the new paralegal was nice, the number of times I would have to follow up on emails and texts to get anything from her was unacceptable. I lost track of how many times the defendant's deposition was rescheduled, but every single time it was pushed back I asked her to keep me updated. Sure enough, after every depo date passed I had to be the one to reach out to see if it was held or not. I was told that a Motion to Compel would be filed if they kept rescheduling, and they rescheduled multiple times without any motion being filed. Nearly two years later, when the paralegal finally decided to give me a call, it was to tell me that my side's settlement offer was now down to $35,000. Initally, after my deposition, the attorney told me they would be going for $100,000 and that the other side probably settle for $50,000-$60, 000. To say I was shocked hearing that the amount went down to $35,000 would be an understatement as I was never kept in the loop with any of the settlement offers up until that point. When I voiced my absolute frustration to the paralegal yet again, I finally got a call from the attorney, but it was just him checking in because he heard I was "mad". Mad is an understatement and completely undermined my entire experience that led me to even needing to retain a lawyer. This wasn't a small fender bender, I was completely t-boned on the drivers side and no one at this firm cared. In the end, I walked away with $5,600. I can't help but think that I spent more time following up on this case than they actually spent working on it let alone caring about it. Maybe the 5 star reviews are accurate also, but there is a chance that they absolutely drop the ball and you'll waste time, energy, and tears trying to get someone here to care. I wasn't going to waste any more energy thinking about my car accident and the abysmal service I received here, but since they send automated "write us a review" texted 6 months later, here I am.
