Gallery refurbished our en suite, downstairs toilet and bathroom. The design was done for each and we asked many questions to try to get it right. The designer was very sketchy when we asked questions and said "it should be alright". We thought , they are the experts not us so okay let's go with that then. Quite a few bits went wrong, and when we asked questions why, we.(the customer) were blamed. This was our fault not theirs. Apparently.
You have to pay in three stages. Firstly the deposit (gallery's money). Second when the fittings you have ordered are delivered to you (for the fittings). And thirdly to the fitter, after the fitting is completed. So when the errors occur you can't hold money back until they put it right, because Gallery themselves have already been paid.
You can only talk to the fitter about it. I have to say that the fitters themselves are very good indeed.
