The exhibit spaces are large enough to show a sizable collection of work, and the people they've picked to curate and design the shows have done a terrific job. Both the "Black Artists on Art: The Legacy Exhibit," and "Journeys Through Light & Dark: DOLLS as Tellers of Stories" exhibitions blew my mind! I left inspired and stunned, wanting to know more about some of the artists. It's not a pretentious or stuffy place to look at visual art--rather, it's a warm, welcoming spot where you can pop in every month or two, see something amazing, and leave feeling inspired. The work on exhibition has always been strong: beautiful, powerful, spirited, and surprising. I've yet to be disappointed, and all the friends I've brought along or have seen a show I told them about have also had a great time. If you're visiting Petaluma for the day, it's well-worth crossing the river and dropping in.

This wonderful art space/building could truly benefit with a more aesthetically appealing design of displaying art, and use of space could be more pleasing, especially being that a walk-through for viewers costs money, make it worth it so attendees spread the word to visit and bring in more people! The front desk group of volunteers are very nice, but as a whole though this great center has so much more potential, could use 'a shot in the arm' to revive and change it up to be the art hub crawling with visitors, and maybe weekly days with no charge.

It's a pretty small store the selection is small it they seem to have some cute home decor from San Francisco and maybe local artist. The main reason for my 3 stars is price. It just seems incredibly unreasonable. There were felt coasters for $30, little felt rings to put on your wine glass for $28, reusable bag for shopping that was $68, tiny vase for a tiny succulent was $28 but you could buy a whole basket of succulents with a basket for that price. And a very small candle for $35. I'm not rich but I'm not poor and I would find it very hard for me to come back to those prices. I felt that the items weren't that more unique to hold those prices.
