It has already been 4 weeks and the status of my canvas is still "Production Pending" EDIT: FINALLY after FIVE MONTHS of waiting, I finally received my canvas. The product is great (though only time will tell). That is the only reason I give this a 1/5. Shipping was fast and effective (free for me since I had to wait 5 months), arrived in bubble wrap inside cardboard. Overall, I would not buy again, even with a Groupon. Processing time was ridiculous and no one answers emails. Make sure to check out the "filtered" reviews, everyone reports the same frustrating experience. Avoid. read more

Similar experience as Luna B... It's been over 3 months and still waiting. Probably should have read reviews before deciding to purchase. Customer service is useless. I got one response to an email over 2 months ago, nothing since then. The customer service phone line is often "closed." Even when it's open, you're put on hold forever and no one answers. My experience is similar to others who have posted. I ordered December 22, 2012. I called/emailed on multiple occasions to no avail. By the middle of February, 2013 I was worried and contacted Groupon. They apparently were able to contact someone at Galleryart but this did not change my order status. It is now March 11, 2013 and I do not have my print. I just sent in my email confirmed a full refund from Groupon. Bottom line: do not buy. read more

Poor excuse for a business! Do not buy off this company they are a scam!! Ordered a canvas August 12, now November 18th still have not received my order that was suppose to take 4 weeks. Have tried to call several times. Go to answering machine after 15-20 minutes. Never received a call back. Emailed several timeS, again no response. Please, please dont waste your money!!!! Very Poor Service! I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order with Gallery Art. There is no answer when you call them. No-one bothers to reply back to messages. My order has been sitting on "Awaiting Fulfilment" for 3 weeks now. I will wait another week, if status of the order doesn't change - I will be driving down to their office. Worst that I've seen. Never buy from this company. The worst customer experience and service I have ever delt with. Been waiting 2 months for my art. I call and they tell me each time that it is on the next shipment. They tell me they will call me right back. Never have they and I have called at least 6 times. They don't reply to emails. I would never recommend. I am having the same issue as everyone else. I purchased art on January 7, 2013 and they told me they would have it to me (in the one email that they had replied to - Jasmine was the name of the rep) by February 1. It is now almost March and I haven't been able to get a hold of anyone or have any email replied to since the second last week of January. I think there is something scammy going on here. I contacted Groupon, as I know that they still have a promotion with galleryart.ca going on. I asked if anyone else had issues like mine happening with this company and if the company was credible. I purchased a groupon for a canvas print, after delays with printing I finally received the product. I regret not looking for reviews of this company before purchase. I am truly dissatisfied with the quality of the product but even more shocked at the extremely poor quality of customer service. After talking to a customer service representative, I was told that the manager would follow up with me the next day. I didn't hear back from them until I contacted them again the next week, I received a response stating that the manager did not feel any need to contact me! I would gladly pay double to purchase the same product from another competitor, in fact I will be going to a local printer shortly to purchase another copy. I wrote in to ask for clarification on some options on their website. Varying degrees of "color enhancement" are avavilable akin to "Low Med High" for various costs. I knew I want some enhancement in the blue sky and some highlights brought out in some black fur, but I didn't know what "level" that would be or how much it would cost. After repeated emails with no response, I eventually had someone respond saying that they didn't know how to answer that question. "Jasmine" said she had forwarded it to the "Production Manager" so they could answer it. Never heard back. I guess it was a REALLY hard question that stumped everyone. Purchased through Groupon and ordered photo. The wait was long and when the photo canvas arrived it was damaged (poorly wrapped and had a puncture through it) I contacted the company and was asked to provide pictures of the photo, which I did. I received a pleasant email and told that supervisor would concat me. After I waited and waited and made additional attempts and have never been responded to by a 'supervisor'. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. I have done mail order photo canvas in the past with other companies with great success. read more

After too many emails to support, but finally Groupon has issued a refund for the unfulfilled Deal by CanvasMadeEasy / Gallery Art / Art Network as advertised - I will be checking on my credit card in a few days ;-) It appears that the shipping costs have been issued back as well, but in Groupons. read more

I am writing this review based on service, because like others, I have STILL not received my canvas. I have sent several emails (with no responses), tried calling numerous times (the line is temporarily suspended), and even Groupon has gotten involved (they've offered to credit what I paid for the Groupon, HOWEVER, this "Gallery Art" business also already charged my card for the shipping cost.... a month and a half ago). As others have stated, I would not use or recommend this company again, even if I eventually do receive my canvas and it is good quality. Customer service is everything, and this company has absolutely none. read more

Ordered a canvas beginning of Feb, was strung along with various excuses such as: -ready in 4 weeks - to ready in 6-8 weeks -By the end of the week it will be done -The production manager is personally working on it -It is still not ready and no foreseen date it will be ready -The production manager is no where to be found -The company ordered the wrong canvas it is too thin and looks awful, many canvases are wrecked (are you not a canvas printing company that would order the same stock every time?) -My canvas was indeed wrecked in the batch of poor canvas stock Then FINALLY a voicemail stating it was ready last week (march 27th). Went to pick it up today : NO PHONE ANSWER NO SIGN NO BODY THERE NO CONTACT INFO OR HOURS POSTED I am quite frustrated with the poor customer service I would not recommend anyone drive out there unless they reach someone by phone to confirm there is someone working there and it is a legit business, beginning to think this place is a scam... read more

I finally received the print - it was a disaster. I sent the following email to them, and of course received no reply. Buyer beware! I received this shipment today, and I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with the results. The actual print it's self is fine - I have no problems with the colours or printing of the photo. What I DO have a problem with is the following: 1. On inspection, there are marks in the darker area that do not brush or wipe off that looks distinctly like someone held the canvas by the bottom - the look like finger imprints. This in and of it's self is not a huge deal, since the light has to hit it "just so" to see them. 2. The framing job is abysmal. the actual wood frame lines are showing under the canvas, like it was not stretched properly, and the canvas inside of the frame looks sunken. the sheer number of staples used is astounding. The canvas overlapped the bottom of the wood frame in the back, making mounting by picture hooks difficult. I had to trim off about 1/4 of an inch in order to mount the canvas. 3. The amount of time overall that it took to do such a poorly framed piece is baffling. When I called I was informed that it was due to high volume from sales - but frankly that should not be my concern. 6 weeks is too long, especially given the final quality of the work! I received, as a gift, a larger canvas picture for Christmas, and it is so professional looking, and well done, that I was so excited to receive this one I ordered - but the results are so starkly different, I can only assume that it was rushed out the door and a crappy job done due to your "high sales volume". This WAS a Groupon order (one gifted to me) but that should not make a lick of difference. My company also sells through deal sites, and whether you buy at full price, or at a fraction of the cost, you will get the same high-quality product and service from us, but it appears, not from you. If I had paid full price for this piece I would have been even MORE upset than I am about it, and as it is I certainly will not be extending any more business your way. How disappointing that such a beautiful picture such as the one I sent you has met such a tragic end on your frame. So sad. I trust I have made my point? read more

This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with online purchasing and Groupon. This company makes the process to activate your voucher extremely difficult. When I was struggling I called the main office and was treated horribly on the phone by a woman. She was extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone. What ever happened to costumer service? You won't get it with this company. To make matters even worse my portrait took over 8 weeks to arrive and when it did it wasn't even mine. I received a picture of two young girls with hearts all over the portrait. What a breach of privacy and confidentiality! It frustrates me that something so personal can arrive at anyone's front door. The quality of the other woman's order is extremely grainy as well and the canvas has a horrible odor. I highly advise everyone to not use this company, as they obviously don't take personal belongings seriously. Very frustrating and unprofessional. read more

Terrible lack of customer support! I tried to contact the company to ask a question that their FAQ did not address. Nobody answered the phones, no answering machine was available, and an email response took three months :| Silly! Eventually ordered my canvas...and their website did not process my Groupon. Spent over a month trying to get my refund. 10 weeks later, I still do not have my canvas. Estimated delivery was 4 weeks. The company clearly cannot handle the business that Groupon is providing them with. I would avoid ordering from this company. read more

Approved a picture October 1, 2013 with 4 weeks delivery. Now Feb 7, 2014 and no satisfaction. Asked for a refund - to no avail. GroupOn was great but Gallery Art sucks. Have an investigation with Visa to try and get my money back. Would not use nor recommend this company. Phone numbers are bogus and they do not respond. You are wasting your time and money. Ordered 6 Groupons with estimated 4 week delivery time. All pictures took over 6 weeks to complete and I picked them up myself. While the canvas look well done, the delivery time is unacceptable. The company is in a little unit in Woodbridge with no signage. Makes me concerned that they will disappear one day. I would NOT recommend dealing with this company. read more

I placed an order using a Groupon voucher 4 months ago and my order is apparently still "In production/Processing".. a status which has not changed since my order was placed last year. I have called their contact number several times and have yet to been able to speak to anyone. The line cuts out each time after being on hold for 15 minutes. I have also sent emails and have received no response to date. Unless you do not mind waiting 6 months - 1 year for a canvas I would NOT recommend placing an order. read more

I too purchased threw Groupon and I am still waiting. I have emailed Gallery Art about 10 times now, called another 10 times and have to sit on hold for 30 mins at a time and still don't get to talk to anyone. My husband is going to drive there directly and find out where the heck our canvas is. I will never recommend Gallery Art or purchase from them again, I normally order from Collage.com because there products are great and so is there service. Only thing I couldn't do was order a canvas print because they are located in the states. You would think ordering from a Canadian Company would be better if you live in this country. Took 5 or 6 times of calling to get through. They do not respond to e-mails sent. I showed up on christmas with no present for my dad. Absolutley terrible. I purchased a Groupon for a $79 print, but when I phoned to activate it I was "upsold" to 2 smaller ones at $49 each. When I went to pick up my order 8 weeks later, only one of the prints was ready. They said there had been a problem with the printer and that the second one would be ready shortly. For 3 weeks I phoned and emailed and got no response. When I went back a second time they still had not finished it. Since I am leaving the country in a few days I asked for a refund for the second print, but they said I would have to go to Groupon. The office has no signage, is shabby beyond belief and is staffed by surly and indifferent employees. Avoid this outfit at all costs! read more

My boyfriend purchased a Groupon voucher for a 16 x 20 canvas print from Gallery Art. Nearly a month after he placed his order, he received an email update advising that there would be a 1-2 week delay in production to "a manufacturing error" by the main canvas supplier that caused "an unacceptable incidence of raised blemishes on the canvas, which resulted in noticeable streaking and build-up of inks directly around the blemishes". Funny, because his order was shipped just three days after this email went out - and sure enough... there were raised blemishes on the canvas along with a mirror image copy of the print that extended over on to both sides of the canvas and on to the reverse, as if the print was duplicated in error but the same piece of canvas was used regardless. He complained to Gallery Art both through their website and by email, and they only responded once once Groupon was made aware of the issue too. Even then, Gallery Art's response was incredibly rude and defensive - unwilling to admit that they were in the wrong. They promised that a manager would call, but we have yet to hear from anyone. Neither of us are EVER going to do business with Gallery Art again and I strongly suggest that you don't bother either - you'll only end up wasting your time and money on a poor quality product. P.S. There was a snow storm when my husband picked up the print and he didn't want to unwrap the canvas. When we got it home the quality was HORRIBLE. I immediately emailed Gallery Art with my concerns. The picture was stretched and the colour was horribly muted. I had ordered a set of canvases from a similar company, called ink doodle, and they came out really nice (from the same set of pictures with the same quality of pictures). They told me that they were not going to refund or give me a store credit as my husband had signed the form in the store and that it was my fault for not reading the print that we signed on pick up. PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT RESPECT ITS CUSTOMERS OR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. read more

Used a groupon for a 30x40 canvas print. Estimated time was 4-6 weeks. Mine took 6 weeks, understandable when you see how many groupons they have sold. The quality of the print is excellent. Colours are spot on to what I had proofed. Couldn't ask for any better. And for the groupon price it's a steal. read more
