I had never been here and found it to be really cool. Just off the 10 Freeway with plenty of free parking, bg gallery is hidden in the back portion of the lot to your right once you enter. There were several artists displaying their work. One artist created a sound box that will speak to you. Another artist painted on vintage clothing. My friend Dan Leven makes these really intricate dimensional boxes. Hard to explain. You need to get over there and check it out! *The show opened August 13 and ends on September 5.

J Sabry Fine Art Gallery opened 4 months ago, and is worth a Look & See visit…read more This small gallery is located on Dayton Way across from Via Alloro restaurant and next to Pol'Atteu fashions. It was my first visit, which was an unexpected surprise. The gallery showcases fine art, mostly oils from late artist Pinot, who passed away in 2010, therefore these art pieces are unique and cannot be reproduced by the same artist! Before the crowd realizes it potential appreciation value, I suggest a visit before these art commodities disappear. The co owner Michael was cordial to Me and Fendi and was patient and very informative. Due to time constraints, I had to limit my time to fully see each art on display. I did take pics of a few that caught my eye. Worth a visit!

It was the perfect venue for a book party, a chic, spacious art gallery where we were able to set up a bar and a table to sell journals and books. The party was in April, in the middle of the gallery's Writers & Poets exhibition, showcasing dozens of rare, beautiful photographs of literary legends like Nabokov, Borges, Faulkner, and Joyce; Alice Walker, Margaret Atwood, and Joyce Carol Oates. This was a pretty wonderful treat for a bunch of book lovers and publishing people. I guess this exhibition is now over, but there's always something to see at Duncan Miller Gallery. I'd recommend it if you want to view some art, and maybe throw a nice little party.

This is the first time my work has been accepted. So, depending on the criteria I may or may not submit again, as this gallery tends to be "discerning" and difficult to get into. The gallery is made up of 5 spaces downstairs and an upstairs that I did not visit. The staff was welcoming, the work was well displayed and thankfully there were a smattering of places to sit in the middle two gallery spaces. The staff was friendly & greeted all who came in. They even made each of us artists very nice reusable name tags. There were ample refreshments in the front with wine & waters in the back space. Prices vary, depending on the individual artist and there is a large selection of work to choose from. Paid Parking is available in a City lot around the corner, and street parking is limited to strict regulations.
