I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel like people should know what to expect. This lawyer came…read moreoff as really condescending and unprofessional. The way they communicate is more like they're talking to a friend, not a client-definitely not what you'd expect when dealing with serious matters. They didn't take the time to actually look into things and seemed quick to jump to conclusions instead of understanding the full situation. Also, don't expect a free consultation--it's not clear upfront, and there's a big discrepancy when it comes to what they charge. Transparency should be standard, but that wasn't the case here. I'd suggest going with someone who takes their time, communicates professionally, and is upfront about fees. Update: July 10 2025 Hi Sheila, I am the individual who left the review. First, I want to make it clear that I am not a woman, and your assumption and repeated misgendering are not only incorrect but highly offensive. It's inappropriate and unprofessional to make such personal assumptions in your reply to a customer. Second, your claim that I was paid or hired to write a fake review is completely false and defamatory. I stand by my experience and the feedback I shared. If you believe the review is inaccurate, you're welcome to provide clarification or request mediation through the platform, but attacking someone's identity and credibility without evidence crosses the line. I encourage you to handle criticism with professionalism and care. Accusations and disrespect toward potential clients reflect poorly on your practice.

I went to Cyrus Dashtaki to discuss the circumstances of being a disabled employee unfairly…read moreterminated by my former employer. I felt that I was unfairly eliminated from a job I valued and that they simply discriminated against me due to my disability. Cyrus allowed me the time to present this situation to him. He reviewed my information and gave me direction as how to gather any needed supporting documentation. He and members of his team were always generous with their time and shared a compassionate attitude towards my situation. Cyrus negotiated on my behalf and was fair, firm and thorough I was pleased that he recently brought this to a satisfactory conclusion, and this was wrapped up in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Cyrus Dashtaki for anyone who needs disability or discrimination representation.

I was fired by my employer of 15 years due to being in a wheelchair. Imagine my surprise when my…read moreE.E.O.C. complaint was not taken seriously and they threw it back in my lap to pursue. (I guess they were too afraid to confront "Goliath"!) Fortunately, Dashaki Law Firm was recommended to me and my experience with Mr. Dashaki did not disappoint. In fact my faith in the entire profession was restored. Cyrus is very familiar with the American's with Disability Act and recognized immediately what the E.E.O.C. did not; that in fact I HAD been wrongfully terminated because of my disability. It was a long process but ultimately we were successful in getting the resolution that was deserved. Along the way I found Mr. Dashtaki to be honest and tenacious; he never gave up in his pursuit of the goal and our position was ultimately recognized; the case was favorably settled. I highly recommend this law firm. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I was kept in the loop the entire time and always made aware of the process. Sandra, in particular is very personable and I'm quite sure Mr. Dashtaki recognizes her value to his firm. Even on the infrequent occasions that Mr. Dashtaki was busy, and not able to take my phone call, Sandra took time away from her duties to reach out and be available to answer my questions or just be a sympathetic ear. I cannot stress how much I appreciate the entire staff at Dashtaki Law firm and should you be in need of an attorney, Mr. Dashtaki would be the one to call!

If I could give this firm zero stars, I would. And this is not a "oh this firm decided not to…read morerepresent me" complaint. The intake process tells you everything you need to know. They schedule you for a 20 minute intake to see if they can assist. But its not 20 mins, it's more like 15. And 10 of the 15 mins is the intake specialist asking you about salary, job title, company, hourly/salary position, etc. By the time they get to the "tell me what happened or why you believe you have a case" part of the intake, you have about 2 mins (they will cut you off and use the last 3 mins for wrapping up the call and telling you the next steps. I assure anyone reading this review, they will decide whether or not to take your case solely based on how much you made at your job , job title, and company (assuming there are no conflicts of interest). Which is why more time during the intake is spent on that, rather than understanding what happened. I knew before I opened my mouth to explain what happened, they were not going to take the case. The intake specialist said it would be 3 days to review my case. I was contacted in less than 2 hours. I would advise anyone why is seeking legal representation to find another firm. You have been warned. Again, my one star rating is beyond generous.

This is a law firm in St. Louis that I let handle a case for me. This was the first law firm I…read morecontacted, and they were so persistent that I just went with them to hurry and get the case over with. I did no due diligence for myself, but I did do it for you. Don't go here. Don't even meet with them, it will be a waste of time. Take your case else where to someone who will really work it for your benefit and keep you up to date. When I first arrived at their building, my first thought was why were they in a hideout. They were probably hiding from upset clients. I got to their office, and the company culture just seemed dead, everybody looked as if they hated work. I met with my lawyer, and he tried to force himself to smile. He came off sleazy from the first moment. We discussed my case and he was trying to rush and get me to sign the papers to represent me. Extremely persistent, made me assume they would be persistent like this handling my case. Well, that was MONTHS ago, I haven't spoken to him since. I called and called, left message after message and no reply. Every time you call, he's either on another call or out of the office. One time the secretary said he was out of the office, then a few seconds later said he was on another call, just blatantly lied. Professionalism at this firm is just lacking. So there, I did your due diligence for you. Don't use them. When picking a law firm, if your gut instinct tells you no, then it's no.

We couldn't have been more proud to walk in the trial with her as a lawyer! It took years and hard work for her to get there and it showed. She was always taking notes and always listening with compassion for what we were going through as a child's guardian. A child's life was needing her and us.
