Feeling flustered by the situation, I just showed them my energy information, not realizing they were taking my personal information down. They then said I would get a confirmation text letting me know that they had spoken to me, which never went through. I'm completely sure that was a bogus claim as they sat there and tried to fake like their system was having a hard time processing the information. I'm pretty certain I signed up for something I never actually agreed to, and this has me feeling so wronged. This is a terrible practice and I am beyond furious by these scammer tactics. If I call and the issue is not resolved immediately, I will be livid.

This is an update to my original review about the outrageous bill I received. It's now Feb and I…read moregot my new bill. Since the last bill I lowered my thermostat from 69 to 68. My new bill is now $351,00. ONE dollar less than last month's bill so once again I called the useless customer service. Again I got a bunch of garbage answers about how cold it was which this past month wasn't and how many hours the furnace runs and blah blah blah. The guy tells me to LOWER the thermostat as if 68 wasn't low enough. Is he kidding. NJNG got a huge increase and we are all paying for their greed. I told him I wanted the meter checked so supposedly someone will be out next week. Again something is very wrong. The meter is either faulty or the reading is wrong or somewhere there is a leak outside maybe. I don't know but nobody has a bill like mine and nobody I know keeps the house at 68 most are in the 70's. One person in a small ranch house with a fairly new furnace and hot water heater should have this kind of a bill especially since the beginning of the year the bill was $103.00
