It's a nice one!! First, I don't speak Portuguese at all (unless you wanna count Obrigada which means thanks) They still made the ordering process smooth and comfortable. The food is great and the price is totally cool! I got some rice and fries, something fried egg, and a HUGE CUT OF BEEF. Guess what? It's only $7.5 If there is anything that is not so perfect, I will say they don't work very fast. I waited about 15 mins to get my meal (I asked to go) But it's Rio de Janeiro, you know ;)

I think this is as good as low budget can get you for a very good and abundant meal. The place is really nice, a soccer ambient. We ordered two juices, a beer, a caipirinha, a barbecue for two and a spaghetti serving and spent just R$120 with tip included. We loved the food and was definitively more that what we could eat (and that's saying a lot). We are definitively coming back, and everybody should come here at least once in their stay in copacabana/ipanema.

We ate there three times. Great steak, chicken, sausage and fish. Waiters are nice but have limited English. Manu has some pictures.

One of the best place to eat in town. Very friendly services. Food is very local and good. Make sure to order house wine, red and white.

They do have an English menu (we were given French on our first visit) so make sure you ask for it.

Hmmm mixed feelings about this place. To be honest the food was good, i enjoyed their feijoada. We…read moregot the rodicio da feijoada. However, the service left a lot to say. We were a a party of 14, and i know it's a lot to handle but from the start we were not attended correctly. Ordering food and drinks was a mess bc the server never asked for our drinks so we were all asking whoever passed by at different times since we had to be divided into 3 separate tables. Also we didnt receive everything that was promised with the feijoada rodicio. We were supposed to receive some sort of "shots" but we did not. Otherwise, the place itself is small but very pretty and romantic.

On our second night in Rio, we decided to try Casa da Feijoada, which was within walking distance…read morefrom where we were staying. It's a fairly small restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the crowd seemed to be mostly locals--which is always a good sign. They're known for their traditional Feijoada (black bean stew), but I decided to go with the Filé Mignon com Catupiry (Filet Mignon with Catupiry cheese). I was a little skeptical at first--I'd never had filet with a cheese sauce before--but oh my god, it was delicious! The Catupiry cheese is seriously amazing. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. Next time, I think I'll finally try their famous Feijoada!
