Even though they were slammed with boats to launch, the team went out of their way to keep me on schedule for my reservation to transit the Welland Canal. The day I headed out was a bit stormy, and I was surprised when Rob called--he didn't exactly say he was checking on me, but I'm pretty sure he was. That level of care, even for a one-and-done customer, really stood out. I can't say enough good things about this yard.

It has been the easiest, most amazing experience. I dont have a history of knowing exactly what i what or what to expect from someone who is there to help me coean my home. I had never hired anyone before. Kat... she's just the easiest person to talk to though. Like a chaos panda, I dumped everything on her and she got it. I just needed a second, psycho Type A, me and there she was saying "hell yess." She truly took the time to understand what mattered to me and where I needed help and then continued to go above and beyond. Being perhaps one of the easiest people to talk to, I really just vented one day about everything in house that drove me nuts and low and behold she comes through again. HELLO JAMES! Repainted my whole kitchen, up the stairs, my office, hallway, doors, fixed annoying window frames ruined by rain water. I feel like a have a brand new house. As I already acknowledged, I am a crazy type A human and the attention to detail is amazing. Im pretty sure I changed scope at least 5 times and the whole process from start to finish was the easiest. I already have plans to bring them back again fix cracks in the ceiling (and perhaps one more project my husband just doesn't know about yet ). Im just soo happy we found them. Thank you guys so much for everything. Please, if anyone needs anything done - painting, trim work, window sills, deep cleans, regular cleans - I've used them for it all and I have yet to experience anything except greatness. If they offered it, I'd let them watch my dogs!

Chris Maurer and RedHouse Studio are absolutely amazing. I hired this firm for a high-end…read morecommercial project about a year ago. I had seen fantastic residential work and so requested a bid for our commercial project. They did a phenomenal job. First, his prices were surprisingly very competitive. He seems to smartly reduce his business overhead and apparently transfers that cost savings to his clients. His office is super cool yet run very efficiently. This is the boring, yet obviously very important, consideration. Second, and far less boring, the design process was fantastic. We went through countless revisions, and he never got frustrated with our indecision (as in most projects I suspect, there was plenty!). He also worked perfectly with our interior designer and made sure to keep things organized and always worked as the voice of the owner. With so many moving parts, this was key. I was very surprised we were able to stay on budget because we had many requested changes. I believe Chris viewed failing to hit the budget as his own shortcomings. This mentality alone is worth a premium and makes his competitive pricing even better. Finally, we hired an independent Project Administrator who did not perform well and ended up leaving the job before it was finished. Chris, put countless hours into the project to keep things moving and absorbed all the responsibilities of the PA without causing any delays at all. In the beginning I would find myself so overwhelmed until I realized Chris was always on top of it. Eventually, I was able to focus on business operations with complete trust that he was handling everything. Bottom line, I could not recommend RedHouse Studio enough. I had very high expectations, and he far exceeded them. He's a professional that views each project as his own. He clearly loves what he does, and he made the experience exciting and fun.
