We're sooooo thankful we found Harvey! Don't be hesitant just because he has no website. You can find him on Facebook. Harvey greeted us warmly ("Come on in the house!") and his no-frills shop was full of quality furniture at great prices! We made the trip from Chesapeake, twice to carry all our purchases. (Cost-effective delivery IS available but we wanted the pieces immediately.) Now we consider it a blessing the other furniture was a bust! Please, do yourself a great favor and go see Harvey before you buy elsewhere!

This place is a no frills "over stock" retail outlet of outdoor furniture. Top quality (Sunbrella cushions) products and very friendly down home customer service. The prices are lower than Sam's or Costco. I bought a sofa, 2 chairs and a hassock and probably saved $400-$500 compared to Sam's. Jim Chesapeake, Va

He has replaced 3-of my mattresses at no charge. Honored Manufacturing Warranty. I would Like to "SHOUT OUT," this time; I could have had 2 or 3 other mattresses and he would have switched them for this one. The cost of those mattresses, were much higher!! And, he would have honored them and not charged me! People, don't go to Mattress Firm and pay off the wall for those mattresses and don't listen to people who say,"furniture stores don't give the same quality as those who only sell mattresses." That is not true!! This man, will beat anything, "Mattresses Firm," has! Also, I was given a very special gift. A rug, that I "Fell in Love With." Also, I have several pieces of furniture in my home from this furniture store. I always remember, " how wonderful this man is to me." And, his delivery men have always gone over and beyond service in my home! My God's Goodness, always be with you David! Celia Herron

Wanted to frame a sentimental, one of a kind banner as a gift for my boss. Because of the complexity, whoever did the work needed to be trustworthy and competent. Co-worker and I decided to support local and try GB F&A from reputation (several "Best of" awards) and proximity to our office. David, shop owner, was patient, professional and helpful, showing various types of frame options (black, brown, brown with black, beveled, beaded, inlayed, etc) as well as various mat options/colors. Never tried to up-sell or offer us something we didn't need/want. We opted for a classic brown with black wood frame without a mat; since the banner was bright orange, having the finished mitred frame with cover glass look would fit into any business/home office motif. After taking a few measurements, David quoted us a price of $85. He took my phone number, we imitated shaking hands (COVID life), and he promised it would be ready in about a week. Sure enough, I got a text 1 week later saying it was ready. Finished product turned out better than imagined. Best of all, David said "it came out to be under what I quoted, $75 please." Paid via credit card quickly and easily, thanked David, and we were on our way.

It is a nice place tucked away in the corner of a small strip shopping center. Each time I have gone in I have been greeted by staff. Including this Sunday. I tend to walk around shops such as this one in a clockwise manner. That way I help avoid missing any treasures. Plus my friend Loretta has one of the first spaces in that direction. I like to take my time and admire all of the nice items. This shop carries a lot of vintage and antique items. It brings back such sweet memories. I saw many things I wanted but I have to keep in mind the want VA needs. After I took my first gander I went back to Loretta's Niche and picked out a ceramic piece that has 5 tubes and the word F A I T H written on each. Perfect to propogate some clippings. I also found a nice low profile ring at another space, and picked a nice chilled soda out of the refrigerator with items for sale. They have fresh coffee in a little room, with books etc for sale, if anyone wants a nice hot cup and they have bagged snacks for sale. An added bonus. The young lady who was working has been very pleasant each time I have visited recently. She also carefully wrapped my ceramic piece up nicely. There is honestly something for everyone in VA VINTAGE.
