A lady came through the return line without a return and jumped the line. The employee allowed it. When I brought this up he apologized profusely. Fortunately I was not in a hurry. I went into Hopeline's Clothesline today and was horrified to see the changes. This was an…read moreextremely nice shop. Nicely decorated, products attractively laid out, good looking displays in front of the window, pleasant music playing softly in the background. The clothing was well organized and the nicer clothing that would be appropriate for job interviews and more formal occasions was located separately from the other clothing, creating a boutique-type feel. I felt hopeful, relaxed and pampered while shopping there, but no more. It WAS very welcoming and I was looking forward to browsing and buying today. The moment I stepped inside, my enthusiasm immediately disappeared. Now the inside looks like some random building that someone just threw a bunch of junk in. Plus, I ripped a hole in my shirt when I brushed against one of their shelves. This is such a shame. Why take such a lovely, welcoming place and strip it down to nothing? This was a place that made you feel good to shop in and now you just feel like you are rifling through junk in some hot, vacant building. This is NOT going to draw customers. This is NOT going to make people want to spread the word about their shopping experience. For the past few months, I have been going in regularly & telling everyone how great it was, but now I won't be doing that. It is such a shame too. I wanted to give it less stars, but the staff is so nice, I felt that it would be unfair to them. I am sure I will still shop there, but it probably won't be my first choice anymore. This sucks

Vaquero Wear has it all. Walking in here reminded me of some of the western shops I've visited in…read moreTexas--from Kingsville to Fort Worth and Austin. The vibe is authentic, the selection is legit, and it's the kind of place you don't expect to find in northeastern NC but are thrilled when you do. They carry it all: men's, women's, and children's wear. The shelves are lined with boots that range from classic to unique, racks of shirts and jackets, plus belts and accessories that stand out as much as the boots. It's clear they've put thought into bringing in a variety of styles and brands. As a bigger guy, I usually have trouble finding my size, but I walked out with a Cinch shirt and a pair of Cinch jeans that fit perfectly. That alone makes this a go-to for me, but the pricing was great. On top of that, the customer service was excellent--friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in making sure I left happy. They're still building their inventory, but the selection already rivals the bigger shops I've seen in Texas. Vaquero Wear is the real deal and an exciting addition to northeastern NC. Whether you're picking up your first pair of boots or adding to your collection, this place is worth the stop.
