Accidents happen, but the company's response has been entirely unprofessional. They are flatly refusing to cover the repair costs, refusing to provide their certificate of insurance, and are completely ignoring all phone calls and emails from my building's owners and property management company. Because they are dodging accountability, I am now stuck in the middle of a dispute with my new building management. Do not trust this company. If anything goes wrong on your move, they will ghost you and leave you to deal with the fallout.

And true to form, Cornell was a gentleman. My mother-in-law arrived to our new home just after we all arrived there. Reeked of alcohol . so now we are worried about the furniture being moved . They did not know how to move a sofa out yet they just got the love seat out ! Damaged the wall which my sister now has to pay for repairs. I told them to lift the sofa upright !! duh!! Somehow they lost her tall up standing lamp?? When we got to the new place we had people come up to us asking who smells of alcohol ! We were very embarrassed. In the end they charged her an extra $100 for renting the rental truck which was not disclosed in the beginning. And no receipt or invoice ! Jacksonport location in Calgary north of the airport is where I chose to store my belongings. The…read moreday I signed up and paid was handled by Melissa and she was quite friendly, other than this day it was all majorly downhill from there. I was harassed incessantly by phone calls and emails onyl two weeks after paying for my first month to pay for another full month's rent from Inderjit, however I only needed the storage unit for that one first month. I continued to receive invoices even after public storage called ME to confirm my move out. Unfortunately, left two items in my unit that I had tucked away from view beside the wall at the door. When I called two days after vacating, I was told that any items left in the unit would have been thrown in the garbage as per their strict rules. Why would anyone be so wasteful and disrespectful ? Inexcusable ! The staff did not follow up on emails from me and even lied about requests that I had made. Don't let them fool you, the only day they will be courteous to you is the first day they sign you up and take your money ! I have never seen such a dishonest, unorganized, terrible storage facility in all of Canada. I do not recommend Public Storage !!
