My favorite wines are from the Beaujolais region or the burgundy region / Cotes de Rhône. I look for these in liquor stores, but all too often just have one or two or three to choose from. But here, I had so many to choose from that it was hard. I was able to but a Domaine Faiveley Mercurey at a good price (actually $1.00 less than google says I should pay). Then I looked for the Beaujolais. Oh my word. They had so many. I have fallen in love.

If you don't know, Post Moscato is sweet and sparkling and I've anyone who didn't like it, especially people who light a light, sweet wine. Generally I'm a red girl but in the summer, or when I'm celebrating or just in the mood, this one wins. As for prices that are a bit higher than the mega-store (if you live in OKC you know what j mean) but they ate fairly well-priced outside of that, with an awesome selection of wines. If I am looking for something specific, they have always had it even if it is something a little bit off key for a gift or something. They also always have sake, which is a definite plus. The staff is always the same people, so if you are an alcoholic, you will quickly build a bit of rapport with the cashiers. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing! Sometimes they have an extremely muscular guy check for IDs, but he is friendly and I am 30 so people carding me is something I can justify as a slight compliment; kidding, not kidding.

During that help phase (I very rarely drink liquor of any sort and realized I wanted to find the wine closest to what I'd get previously out of state for special occasions) - Shelly helped me out graciously and spent so much time explaining everything to me! Every time I've went in there for my great grandmother's brandy (for her fruitcakes - I swear she's not an alcoholic LOL) or to get spirits for my families special occasions I won't go anywhere but here - everyone is so sweet and kind!
