Friendly welcome upon entering. The store is organized but has so much that you can get paralysis analysis. I was looking for a nice wine to take to a friend's house but while searching I found Chi chi's long island tea. It's the best and when I say good better than captain morgan. I haven't had this since being back home in Okc and 14years ago and the price was reasonable. Walked out grinning ear to ear. Plenty of parking. In and out experience. I also walked out with a 4 pack of Cutwater which was expensive but baby it was that 12% that will get you comfortable on one can. This is the best liquor store in Yukon. It's family owned and operated. There are some other liquor stores in Yukon, but they are all tiny. Granted, this one isn't gigantic, but they have everything you need. I really have enjoyed their selection of wines that are aged in whiskey or rum barrels. Shopped at this place about 4 times now, it is close to my house. The experience is "meh" at best. Never a greeting when you walk in the store and the check out is a negative experience with the woman behind the register. Seems to be the owner or manager, but she is unpleasant, unfriendly, discourteous and seems downright antagonistic to the customers. I will travel a little farther to give my money to someone who can treat me like they appreciate my business. read more

This is an OK place to stop in and grab a quick bottle of wine, if you forgot to get one somewhere else. They have a pretty good selection for a tiny liquor store, especially in Yukon, but they are overpriced. The staff is usually pretty nice, but the owner/manager can be a bit much. There have been many times when she's been yelling in the store for one reason or another, and it's just not really that professional. The liquor selection isn't bad, but just like the wine, it's a bit pricey. The beer selection is nothing to really talk about, they don't have too much to choose from. If you live in Yukon, and are in a bind, this place will work fine. If I have the choice, I typically go elsewhere, even if it is just as expensive as Joy's. read more

This liquor store is practically in my neighborhood, so it is hard to beat the convenience. They have all the basic liquors and lots of flavored ones, a decent wine selection, and a woefully understocked beer selection. The prices are about average, but definitely not as cheap as bigger stores like Byron's. If you live in Yukon and need a quick bottle, you could definitely do worse. Here's my issue with the store: the guys that work there are nice and always helpful, but if the owner is there I will literally turn around and walk out. She is loud, brash, and is typically hollering something at her staff from across the shop. My wife and I have been coming here since 2006. The staff is always very helpful and nice. If they don't have something in stock they check to see if they can order it for you. I don't notice the prices being drastically more than anywhere else other than a store like Byrons but by time you spend the time and gas to get there and back its a wash at best. I think the selection of liquor is good. They do not have a large beer selection but they have always had what we were looking for. One of the great things I love about this store is that they will let you build a six pack or pull singles of the beer. Gives you a great chance to try new beers without risking wasting money on a full 6 pack. We keep coming back because of the staff and friendly atmosphere... Including Joy (owner). She has been very helpful in the past when assisting me in locating a certain type of wine bottles my wife likes to collect. Once she even sold me the bottle I was looking for out of her own personal collection. read more

This is a great liquor and wine shop. They know their wine and will order whatever you are looking for. The staff are phenomenal, and the selection is pretty good for a smaller shop. The only problem is that the prices are a little higher. When I buy in bulk for events or parties, I still go to Byron's, but for a good conversation on wine and a shop that will give you personal service, Joy's is hard to beat. read more

Decent prices and very helpful staff. I recently decided to dabble in whiskey and have not been given a bad recommendation yet.

I live in OKC but work in Yukon & Joy's is where I shop. Even if I forget on a weekend I will drive back! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, always good with suggestions. Prices are much better than neighborhood liquor stores in OKC who are in business one day & gone in a few months. I can always find a great selection (& yes!, I'm a sucker for the clearance shelves!) and ALWAYS something new to try. Clean, well-stocked, well lit & I feel safe shopping there. Locally owned & operated AND they support the community! What more could you want? read more

Joy's is a great liquor store. Joy is such a generous person. She also has a great selection in the store. I really like to try a new beer each time I go and she always has something new for me to try. She has a large wine selection as well. My wife is more of the wine drinker, but we always find something to our liking. read more

Definitely Not the Most expensive place in Yukon. I drove to 3 others in Yukon because of these three reviews. Found it to be the least expensive of 4 in Yukon. (chisolm west, turle creek, kc's). Moral: Dont believe everything you read on the internet. read more
