Had second thoughts about blowing off this long time resource for lack of a better one. Hired them again to pick us up and drive us to and from Newark airport for a recent flight. The driver, George, was pleasant and his personal vehicle, an Audi A6, very comfortable. We only took carry-on bags, so all our luggage fit in the trunk for the lower rate of $109. I would give ZERO stars if I could. My parents had a car scheduled to pick them up on Saturday night in New Brunswick @11pm (after a show at the theatre), to bring them to Freehold, NJ. The driver never showed up, even after he told them he was "around the corner", "almost there", etc etc. At 12:15am I had to order an Uber to take them home. My parents have spoken to Galaxy numerous times since yesterday morning, and the situation still isn't resolved. At this point they're being told that "they don't have all the details yet". Incredibly unprofessional, leaving people standing out on a street at midnight in 20 degree weather. Also incredibly unprofessional to tell the customers they don't have the story yet. There should be a full refund, apology, and nothing else. At this point in time we are still waiting to hear back from Galaxy. Unfortunately we will never be using them again. read more

I have to say that Galaxy coach gave us exemplary service this past weekend. With 11 family members traveling to a wedding in Manhattan, we had the nicest drivers who arrived on time and got us to our destination on time despite the Saturday night traffic. I can't say enough about Galaxy coach. I utilized Galaxy for business over the past several years and was always satisfied. This was the first time I used them for personal use and they exceeded my expectations. I see some dated reviews that are negative but I don't believe that is the same company that they are criticizing. I had been a customer for over 20 years. On a recent trip, the driver dropped one of my bags and broke the lens on my camera. I asked Galaxy if they would contribute towards the repair, and initially they said they would. Long story short, they backed away from their commitment on an accident they committed. When an owner can't stand behind their business, it is time to stop using that business. Too bad, the original owners were awesome and knew customer service. Not now. read more

If I could give them no stars, I would. I used them for my daughter's wedding a few weeks ago. They picked up the guests and dropped them off at the venue. The wedding was over at 12:00. I made sure that we were all gathered up to go. My friend even went up meet the coach. We went upstairs to meet them. We sat on the benches outside the venue. It was the bride, groom, and guests. No one showed up. Four of us called the hotel only to find out that Galaxy never answered the phone! Finally after more than an hour, the hotel had to send us taxis. The next day, I found out that the driver just decided to go home and the office staff, who was to stay until 5 am went home too! The venue had closed and I got so upset that I left my purse on the bench! Luckily I got it back he next day! They ended up only refunding me half of my $250.00 I paid. Good business would have refunded it all! They left the bride, groom, and guests stranded. I would not recommend them to anyone! read more

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I paid them $240 to be my guest shuttle for my wedding. They NEVER took my guest to the wedding. I just found out that the hotel shuttle took my guests NOT THIS PROVIDER that I paid for. The night of my wedding they were suppose to make 2 trips back to the hotel. One at 12:50 and one after 1am bc that's when the wedding ended. After 1AM - my bridal attendant called the company and they said they came at 12:30 and no one got on so THEY LEFT. And NEVER CAME BACK. So my hall called us all an UBER. ON MY WEDDING NIGHT!! Never once did they come into the hall and ask to speak to anyone about going back to the hotel or asking what time it ended. When I saw my phone after 1am I saw that they had texted me at 12:30 saying they were there! 12:30! And why would you text me. The bride. Who never had her phone the whole damn day. It was my wedding day! When my bridal attendant called, they said I could call for a refund and when I did they got so nasty and said that never happened. Then I emailed them and never got a response so I am disputing the charges with my credit card bc I NEVER RECEIVED not one of the services I paid for! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! EVER!!!! read more

Yes, they are more expensive but to know with pinpoint accuracy that they are going to be there when you arrive and immediately take over the baggage details is well worth the extra money. read more
