Start of the visit went well enough she let me know right away that she can handle my meds for me. She was willing to give me a bridge Rx for my pain meds while I found a pain specialist. Well, by the end of the visit she said she wouldn't give me the bridge script because "I don't prescribe narcotics for any reason." WTF, she literally told me that she would help until I found a pain specialist. I have been going to a pain doctor for three years. They can see from my records is that I have been on the same dose this whole time. I haven't been fishing for more. All of my UIs have come back clean. Honestly I am a model patient. Then, they never sent the referral to the pain doctor she personally recommended me to!!! Maybe she is OK if you sprain your ankle but if you have serious health issues and chronic pain like me find someone else. She Will trivialize your pain while patronizing you the whole time. Worst doctor I have had to deal with in a long time. Stay away.

I didn't have a PCP set up so when I called I said I would make an appointment with the earliest available doctor. That happened to be Dr Yee. My appointment was for 2:40pm 1/14/19. I was finally called back at around 4:00. Dr Yee sent me downstairs for X-rays and told me he would call to let me know the extent of my injury no later than 12pm the following day 1/15/19. I thought that was a long time to wait with a possible broken foot and seeing that the X-ray technician told me that as soon as she took the X-rays he could access them immediately. But I waited. And when he didn't call me I called the Sutter Call Center and left an email. I waited a couple hours and with no response decided to try to call back. This went on for the next two days. Me calling and being promised a return call and would not hear back. Finally a podiatrist called me and said Dr Yee sent over a Refferal for me to be seen. But the person calling to schedule the appointment could not tell me what was wrong with my foot. I continued calling with no response via email or my messages. The call center did what they could and would promise I would receive a call back but he never got back to me. I tried contacting Sutter Patient Relations and they also promised that he would be getting back to me and they would inform the office manager and mark my messages urgent. With no call back I decided to ask to speak directly to a supervisor and not be forwarded to leave a message or email anymore. They transferred me to the front office and they told me that I indeed broke my foot. So 4 days had gone by since I saw Dr Yee and he never thought I was important enough to respond to. And meanwhile I was in the dark on how to care for myself. I wish I had gone to the ER in the first place. He does not care about his patients. Someone posted in a review that he is a 'dirty doctor' that is known to prescribe pain medication. I believe that could be true because why else would people wait hours to be seen? The front staff told me people will wait 3 or more hours just to see him. He's horrible.

He was one of my all time favorite physicians. I had to find a new doctor immediately and unfortunately there wasn't many to choose from that fit my needs in the Sutter community within the time frame I needed locally. I was offered to see Dr. Chowdhury in Manteca. I was hesitant at first because I had to make a drive a few cities over and I am a seizure patient. So on a bad day I would have to cancel appointments (so I thought). I was reminded she does video appointments. I am absolutely glad I accepted her as my new physician. Dr. Chowdhury is very compassionate, understanding and gets you the referrals you need for the medical care you need. Her demeanor makes you comfortable and at ease in her presence. Her doctor office staff is very friendly and the office itself is very intimate when you enter. It is in a location I do question and makes me a little nervous and that is why I do give 4 stars. It has nothing to do with the doctor or her staff.
