In fact, we enjoyed it so much, we went to the real estate office and now are working towards a goal of buying a place here. In the meantime, we'll be coming back as often as possible and renting when we do. My family and I give Cinnamon Shores our highest recommendation!

My family owned a home here for over 10 years, and honestly, after this experience, I'm relieved we no longer do. It's disgusting to see how loyal residents and vacationers are treated now. Cinnamon Shore seems to think they can do whatever they want and treat people like second-class citizens. To make matters worse, the house we stayed in had cockroaches, which was already unacceptable considering the cost of staying here. Larry and Juan from courtesy patrol then approached and harassed my family over an investigation that none of us were involved in. During the interaction, they were taking photos of me and my family, which made us extremely uncomfortable. When I confronted them about it, Larry responded with, "You're not that sweet, sweetheart," before they became even more disrespectful and unprofessional, eventually calling me and my sister "f***ing ret*rds." What makes this even more disturbing is that I have the entire interaction recorded. I have special needs family members, so hearing that kind of language was beyond offensive and unacceptable. No guest, resident, or homeowner should ever be treated this way, especially by staff or security personnel who are supposed to make people feel safe. After being a loyal guest and homeowner family since 2009, I am honestly shocked and disgusted by the level of harassment, disrespect, and overall experience my family had.

Longing for surf and sand, we scheduled a long weekend in Port Aransas and found a fantastic house within 5 minutes of the beach. "Villa 4 Rita" is dog friendly and can sleep a total of eight. The setup includes two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds. An open loft sleeps 4 but it has a low ceiling and the stairs are treacherous. Melissa made our trip fantastic. We got her take on restaurants and took her up on a few of her suggestions. Check in and check out were as easy as the beach breeze.

Beautiful porch and chairs to enjoy especially in the evening. Close to boardwalk to beach for walking or using a golf cart if you rent one.

When we arrived, the property had not been properly cleaned or inspected. Issues we encountered included: * Sheets with hair on them * FILTHY floors throughout the home - not sand from the beach, dirt from floors that had not ben mopped or cleaned. We had to wear socks most of the trip to keep our feet clean. * A dead, decaying bird on the patio by the pool * A dirty grill (and no way to clean it) * A dirty pool we never once used * Dirty appliances * Non-functioning ceiling fans, stove burners, and bedroom lights * Most TVs not working * 2nd floor patio door that wouldn't open A technician was sent to address the TV issues and we want to be fair -- he was polite, worked hard, and also cleaned the grill and removed the dead bird. We appreciated his effort. However, he had to come in and out of the house most of the day, which significantly disrupted our family vacation. We also had to spend our first hours their washing bedding for seven bedrooms. A property manager never came to the home or has ever contacted us. We were told they weren't feeling well that day, which we understand -- things happen. But with nearly a dozen issues, many of them cleanliness problems that should have been caught before check-in, it would have meant a great deal to have a manager acknowledge the situation. We have yet to hear from anyone from Silver Sands regarding this. We reached out to Silver Sands Vacation Rentals regarding the issues and they did not respond appropriately. For what we paid (including a $600 cleaning fee), we deserved a clean, well-maintained, operational and properly inspected home. We had many other properties to choose from and wish very much that we had chosen differently. We would NOT recommend this property or this management company based on our experience and will not stay at a Silver Sands Property again.

The Dancing Dunes in Port Aransas is a true gem. My family of 4 has been coming here for several…read moreyears and our 3 night stay was memorable. This time around my sister and brother in law and thier kids also came along for the first time. Becky the property manager greeted us as we arrived at our 4pm check-in. She explained everything in detail and walked us through the cabin and made us feel very welcomed. The unique one story cabins are arranged in a horseshoe configuration and are named according to their theme, and in the middle a beautiful courtyard is shared with gueats. We actually stayed in their latest newly remodeled two story cabin called The Marlin. It's located right next to the main property. At night it's very safely lit and your vechicals are parked under the structure. It sleeps 10 with two full baths and all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable. It has a second story large balcony and a small third story balcony as well. Access to the beach is at walking distance or a short drive. After hurricane Harvey the cabins sustained damage and there was even a waterline marker when the storm surge came in. After alot of hard work and tireless vollenteers the newly remodeled cabins are better than ever. Becky was even kind enough to show us inside The Rock and Roll cabin and the remarkable improvements they made. The Dancing Dunes is highly recommend which ever cabin you stay in. Check out their Facebook page or website to make reservations in advance because they do fill up quickly. We're definitely coming back next year and can't wait to make memories again.

I requested a refund or to reschedule to another date and the host manager refused. Even when there was clear evidence that there was a warning for that area, she tried to be misleading. VRBO who was the third part booking agency advocated for us and offered a partial refund. This is unethical and shady business practices and I would not recommend.

Several were up for sale. There was a community pool with close walking distance. We never used it, but it seemed nice. The best part was the proximity to the beach. In my opinion, it was too far from both Port A and Corpus Christi, but overall I was upset by it. Just had to have designated drivers in place since we were on vacation and had 11 of us altogether. It's almost pitch dark on the road at night and there aren't many passing zones with it being a 2-lane highway. Find your group and have a good time, y'all!

You can book a one bedroom condo and add two additional (attached) one bedroom efficiencies which also have bathrooms, kitchen appliances and a full refrigerator. Great for large groups. Everyone can stay together and still have privacy. They also have laundry facilities on site and in some of the condos. AND they welcome dogs! $25 per dog per night. We had boarded our dogs. Next time they are coming with us! The property is within walking distance to a restaurant too. Great HEATED pool and jacuzzi as well. Special shout out to MIRANDA who assisted us with finding the right room for a return visit. Coordinated with other staff to show us three options for our next stay in May. We found evidence of mold, rotting doorframes, exposed electrical outlets, exterior doors with severely rusted or missing doorknobs, and bunk beds that were unstable due to missing screws. We booked the home as a family with 3 children ages 3 and under, which clearly there were safety concerns upon arrival. Outside of those concerns, the furniture was stained and filthy and the whole place wreaked of bleach. We documented everything and contacted the hosts as we packed up and left to find another place to stay. Unfortunately, they denied our refund request and eventually stopped responding altogether. We then escalated the issue to Airbnb support. To Airbnb's credit, after reviewing the documentation and condition of the property, they ultimately refunded us in full. The entire situation was stressful and not at all what we expected when booking this home. The listing needs to be removed from all platforms until thoroughly addressed, and the management company needs new leadership in place. I cannot recommend them in the meantime.
