My wife and I wanted to find a healthy breakfast/lunch spot since we had been eating a bunch of…read moreheavy foods. This was the perfect spot to go. They have all sorts of brunch items that were both healthy and fulfilling. Avocado toast was solid in terms of flavor but the bread was too Soft to hold up to toppings. Although the bread was fresh it would have been better toasted. The Avocado spread didnt look freshly made but maybe I was wrong. Looked like the stuff you get from costco honestly. We also had the couscous salad which was light and refreshing. My wife had the french toast and it was the best thing we had at preps. It came with yogurt which was a cool addition to the sweetness of the french toast. All in all, it was a solid spot that we would go back. There were a few tables available when we went so we sat right down. It is off the main street where the shopping happens so maybe its more of a hidden gem. Come check it out.

I am surprised that there is no review on this coffee shop…read more We were in Maastricht for a weekend, and just wanted to do some sightseeing with the bike. By chance, we came to this coffee shop on Saturday for a lazy morning breakfast. The vibe of this shop was just nice and chillaxing ! I love the high ceiling and bright lights with big windows. They offered many magazines and newspapers for you to read while having a short break ! People were super friendly and helpful. And the services were fast. Interestingly, they also had some nice self created coffee latte, such as mellow morning - which was with one expresso shot, hot milk, honey and something else. It tasted great ! What beyond all above good points was the Vanilla muffin - it was so delicious and probably one of the best I had in my life ! It was just pure simple with the perfect density and heavenly taste. It was like eating the cloud and made you wanna just fly away. Anyway, definitely will come back again if I'm ever in this lovely town! Like, seriously good bagels. And frickin awesome coffee. But, 6.40€ for a hummus bagel sandwich is painful. This place came highly recommended by the interwebs. Zoervleis is described as a sour beef stew…read morewhich sounds unappetizing, I thought it tasted like beef stew in a spiced barbecue sauce, somewhere between KC and NC style. The fries were nothing special but the main was a tasty intro to local food, with a side of apple sauce to clean the palate. Mandarin sorbet was tasty and not overly sweet. It has some floral notes, perhaps honey? A lot of things are decorated with this amusing drawing of a man and woman at dinner. The man is licking his plate while the woman is holding it up like a mirror. Inside is on the smaller side, though I may be comparing to American size. It does get kind of loud.
