He and his crew arrived on time, did exactly what we had discussed. Since a truck could not get in my yard, his crew climbed my trees without using spikes so as to not damage the trees. They were meticulous with their clean up. I have dealt with at least 4 other tree companies. Ohio Vally Tree Experts are far superior and their prices are very reasonable. I have recommended them to many others. I will never use anyone else. I could not have been happier or more pleased with their service.

When I moved into my home the landscaping had been minimally maintained for years and everything was massively overgrown. There were large branches extending over the house dropping leaves and clogging gutters plus tree limbs brushing against the house and some large branches I feared would fall. Everything was generally unkempt. The team removed a dying tree as well as pruned, and shaped numerous trees including Walnut trees, Maples, Bradford Pears and a Spruce getting them away from the house. Baldo was very knowledgeable about each type of tree. For the number of trees pruned his pricing was very reasonable. (Much less than other quotes I'd received). The team worked very quickly and efficiently taking necessary safety precautions to protect both my home and their team. They do a great job!

The crew arrived early, and wow, they have an EFFICIENT and quick operation! They had at least one guy who climbed up super high in each tree, while folks on the ground spotted him, handled cut branches, etc. Since they needed to grind down the pine tree stump, they used a ditch witch. I was impressed that they laid down a mat over the grass to protect the ground from the ditch witch tracks. They cleaned up really well too.

They arrived with in 30 minutes of the quoted time. After looking at the situations, we asked for a quote for just tree cutting (cutting the fallen tree to manageable sections) and one quote for complete removal. The complete removal was quoted to be $1400. I said that it sounded great and asked him to please send me a written quote to ensure that the price and work expectations will be the same. He said okay, and asked me to text the email to him. Within roughly less than 3 hours, and 4 exchanges... he finally sent me a written quote of $2100. When inquired if it was an error, he texted back and said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make a decision" 10:20 I texted my email to him as requested at the end of meeting 11:50 He texted me and that he sent the quote. He only sent for cut only, not for cut and haul. So I immediately asked for a full clearing quote. 1:09 I get the quote for full clear and asked if it was an error - much more than discussed 1:19 he said "It's not a mistake; sometimes it happens when you look for several quotes and then you make the decisions." A company that literally jacked up your price because you were shopping for a quote - is not trustworthy to perform work without written quote.. Would not recommend work without written quote for buyer protection. We did not have them waiting for an unreasonable amount of time by any stretch of the imagination - most of it was waiting for them to send me written quotes. Pictures just to give you the idea of how interested I was and really wanted a written estimate.

After coming out in person to assess the trees, they provided us with what seemed like a solid, straightforward quote. We scheduled the work based on that agreement -- only for them to come back later demanding a higher price ($400 more) and insisting they also take the cut wood that we very clearly said we wanted to keep. They used to excuse for wanting to take the wood as there reason to not complete the job. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, communication completely fell apart after that. They stopped responding, never followed through on the revised plans, and ultimately wasted our time. We rearranged our schedules for their availability, only to be left hanging with no explanation. Professionalism, reliability, and honest pricing matter -- and unfortunately, this company fell short on all three. I would not recommend them based on our experience.
