I contacted Essential E-sistant in 2016 after attempting to create my own website using a DIY…read morewebsite building tool from a web hosting service. My rather crude efforts resulted in a website that had very little chance of attracting interested customers, or even adequately conveying the message I was trying to send. My design was poor, my use of graphics (photos, buttons, and links) was the work of an amateur, and I was in serious need of someone who had experience in building an impactful website that would help sell my professional consulting services. In the end, that 'someone' turned out to be Susie Ferek, the owner of Essential E-ssistant. Susie worked with me to revamp and develop a website (elrhelpsource.com) that showcased my experience, advertised my services, and did it all by using a clean but effective user interface that was easy to view, navigate, and understand. The result was stunning. I now have a website that I could never have created on my own, for a fraction of the cost I would have taken on using other professional content developers. Liking the website so much, I then had Susie work with me to redesign and print business cards that, like the site itself, helped deliver a clear, concise message, while using an aesthetically pleasing and professional layout. I can't possibly overstate the value and quality of the finished product(s) I ended up with by going with Susie and Essential E-ssistant. But even as pleased as I am with the website and business cards, I was even more impressed with the time Susie took to learn about my business, the customers I was trying to attract, and the message I was trying to craft. I highly recommend Essential E-ssistant for all your graphic design and website needs, and will even be looking to Susie for editing assistance soon given the quality of her work.

My team reached out to Clum Creative for videos at a time when our brand needed a complete overhaul. This was uncharted territory for us but their production team made it a very simple and exciting process. Clum gave us the option to steer when we wanted to but we were still able to count on their writers to really perfect the messaging. Aside from the creative process, it just helped to have people who operate efficiently and understood how to tell a story and sell a product without sounding clunky or boring. The end result looked very modern and sleek, which is the look we needed badly. We hired someone in-house last year but we still work with Clum frequently for editing, animation, and whenever we're swamped. Could not recommend this team enough, they're definitely my go to whenever people ask for video content.

This organization presents significant challenges as a workplace or business partner. There appear…read moreto be concerns surrounding the leadership and management practices within the company. The owner's interactions with the staff have reportedly raised issues of negative behavior, and there seems to be a prevalent desire among current employees to explore alternative employment opportunities. The leadership capabilities of the owner, Andy Halko, have been brought into question, both in terms of his managerial proficiency and his broader business acumen. It's worth noting that his professional background appears to be exclusively tied to Insivia, with no discernible experience beyond his collegiate years. Allegations of misleading clientele about the in-house expertise, coupled with evidence of outsourcing endeavors, further raise concerns about transparency in client interactions. Employee turnover appears to be a recurring challenge, characterized by frequent dismissals and resignations. Discrepancies in the reasons for employee departures have been observed, with explanations ranging from cutbacks to performance-related issues. This discrepancy calls into question the consistency and fairness of the company's internal communication. The company's business performance also seems to be experiencing setbacks, with the loss of several key clients over a relatively short span of time. The owner's communication style, while assertive, has been criticized for lacking effective interpersonal awareness and inhibiting productive dialogue. Additionally, it should be noted that the company's website indicates a workforce of 25 plus employees, which is inconsistent with the actual staff size of less than 10. This discrepancy raises concerns about the accuracy of the company's public representation. It is worth noting that while employee input is ostensibly encouraged, instances have arisen where this input does not lead to tangible improvements but may instead be utilized in a way that undermines or retaliates against employees. This potentially points to a disparity between the company's professed commitment to employee engagement and the actual implementation of constructive feedback. The company's human resources management structure is also noteworthy. The involvement of Andy's wife, Katy, as the HR manager, despite a lack of formal HR experience, raises questions about the adequacy of HR practices within the organization. This may be particularly concerning given her response to situations, specifically pertaining to her husband, that could potentially be viewed as HR violations. Based on firsthand observations as the roommate of a former employee, it is advisable to exercise caution when considering employment or business engagement with Insivia. The concerns highlighted above suggest a challenging work environment and potential limitations in the company's operational trajectory. Those seeking opportunities within the industry are encouraged to explore alternatives that align more closely with their professional aspirations and values. Engage at your own risk.
