TOOK FOREVER to get the site up, and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Site went down twice in 6 months…read moreonce it was finally up. We ended up firing him and he actually tried to hold our website files hostage until we threatened to sue for breach of contract. Jason Murphy blamed us the first time the site went down, saying we must have "blown it up" somehow. He later realized he had never even given us the passwords for the Content Management System, so it was impossible for us to be at fault. Jason took full responsibility for the site going down, and promised he'd put safeguards in place to prevent it from happening again. We gave him a second chance. The second time the site went down, it actually rerouted to a site promoting Jason as a web designer! Jason said, "I can't keep fixing things for you guys," and "I have no idea how this happened." I said, "We did not pay for a site promoting you. Where is our site?" We then hired a new web designer and asked Jason to email him the Wordpress file. Jason said he did not have us on his schedule and would not be able to do that for two months (even though he had emailed me 3x that day)! Unfortunately we had to resort to threatening to sue him for breach of contract. He then immediately emailed the file to our new web designer, who has been fabulous. Jason does not know what he is doing and does not respect or value his customers. I regret writing such a terrible review, but I don't want anyone else to go through what we did over the past year and a half.

This organization presents significant challenges as a workplace or business partner. There appear…read moreto be concerns surrounding the leadership and management practices within the company. The owner's interactions with the staff have reportedly raised issues of negative behavior, and there seems to be a prevalent desire among current employees to explore alternative employment opportunities. The leadership capabilities of the owner, Andy Halko, have been brought into question, both in terms of his managerial proficiency and his broader business acumen. It's worth noting that his professional background appears to be exclusively tied to Insivia, with no discernible experience beyond his collegiate years. Allegations of misleading clientele about the in-house expertise, coupled with evidence of outsourcing endeavors, further raise concerns about transparency in client interactions. Employee turnover appears to be a recurring challenge, characterized by frequent dismissals and resignations. Discrepancies in the reasons for employee departures have been observed, with explanations ranging from cutbacks to performance-related issues. This discrepancy calls into question the consistency and fairness of the company's internal communication. The company's business performance also seems to be experiencing setbacks, with the loss of several key clients over a relatively short span of time. The owner's communication style, while assertive, has been criticized for lacking effective interpersonal awareness and inhibiting productive dialogue. Additionally, it should be noted that the company's website indicates a workforce of 25 plus employees, which is inconsistent with the actual staff size of less than 10. This discrepancy raises concerns about the accuracy of the company's public representation. It is worth noting that while employee input is ostensibly encouraged, instances have arisen where this input does not lead to tangible improvements but may instead be utilized in a way that undermines or retaliates against employees. This potentially points to a disparity between the company's professed commitment to employee engagement and the actual implementation of constructive feedback. The company's human resources management structure is also noteworthy. The involvement of Andy's wife, Katy, as the HR manager, despite a lack of formal HR experience, raises questions about the adequacy of HR practices within the organization. This may be particularly concerning given her response to situations, specifically pertaining to her husband, that could potentially be viewed as HR violations. Based on firsthand observations as the roommate of a former employee, it is advisable to exercise caution when considering employment or business engagement with Insivia. The concerns highlighted above suggest a challenging work environment and potential limitations in the company's operational trajectory. Those seeking opportunities within the industry are encouraged to explore alternatives that align more closely with their professional aspirations and values. Engage at your own risk.
