My experience with this company was totally unprofessional and unsatisfactory!! The owner, the son of a Cleveland Councilman, presented me with a long questionnaire about what I wanted in my Graphic Design and what it should convey. I spent a lot of time answering those questions thinking all of my answers would weigh heavily in his initial design proposals. What I received was NOTHING that I'd asked for and none of the information conveyed was applied. My daughter actually drew the design and font choice leaving this so-called Graphic Designer little to do but clean up and modify the design to perfection. He sent back designs that were NOT what was specified and different from my requests. We haggled back and forth (he argued moot points instead of pleasing me....the customer). When he FINALLY got it right, I paid extra to be able to own the design outright for copywriting purposes. I received my ownership certificate in the mail with my name spelled wrong. I let him know. He said, "Someone else sent it out for him." I waited weeks for the corrected copy to show up. In fact, after a few weeks I sent a text inquiring about the timeline of my receiving the second corrected copy. He didn't know who I was. He claimed he had a new phone and didn't recognize the number. However, if took him 48 hours to even send that! He promised the SECOND corrected certificate would be forthcoming. It came on October 17, 2017. It had the wrong spelling of my name AGAIN! When I sent him a text informing him of this, he said, "That's what your email says." Then asked me to send him a copy of my drivers license as if I was collecting those useless certificates as collector's items. He actually wanted to see my Ohio driver license to PROVE to him what and how to spell my name. As if I wouldn't know. This very young man, under 30, leaves a lot to be desired as it relates to his communication skills, both written and personal, and is not a good business man in my opinion. He's quick to send links to his Square Account for payment, but was slow to respond when I complained. He was combative and more concerned about arguing a moot point than in making me happy with the services I paid for. I have two USELESS certificates of ownership that I cannot use, legally, through the US Patent and Trademark office. The name(s) on both certificates are wrong and technically not me. It would pose a problem if I presented those along with my official ID, which of course, reflects the true spelling of my name. This company, I believe, definitely Wakes and Grinds for itself. The Hustle part of the company is what I feel happened to me. As of this writing, 8:55 10/18/17, I have yet to hear from him via any medium once I clarified for the THIRD time what my name was and how it should be displayed on the certificate. When and if I get the third certificate, I will come back to update this review as to whether he finally got it right. His mistakes are costing me time and money. I cannot move forward with any official business with the US Patent Office until I have a certificate that accurately reflects my legal name. Stay far, far, far away from this young, up and coming business. It's a work in progress and not on par with other Graphic Design companies in Cleveland as it relates to design work and professionalism, in my opinion!
