Healthy Halo Insurance (affiliated with Healthcare Marketplace aka Obamacare) is abusing their affiliation and participating in [possibly illegal] shady insurance practices. How they operate is abusive of the system and should not go unnoticed. Healthy Halo Insurance (Los Angeles, CA) has grown through their affiliation with Obamacare. There are always shady companies that benefit from government subsidies, while the rest of us pay for their abusive practices. In the past couple of months, Healthy Halo Insurance has sent me more than 250 email solicitations, none under their legal name of Healthy Halo Insurance. I have spoken with the President and Vice President and had them reimburse me for insurance purchased through their unprofessional and poorly trained staff last year. Even after they gave me a reimbursement they continued receiving the commission through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield for insurance Healthy Halo claimed wasn't through them. I was later able to track down their connection to Anthem BCBS and how they signed me up a second time even though I had severed (and confirmed) that they would no longer represent me or receive commissions from my insurance. For the past ten weeks, I have continued to receive email after email from this dishonest company, even after they told me I don't exist in their database. I can evidence over 250 emails in 10 weeks for anyone who would like to view them. Do not patronize Healthy Halo Insurance. They will oversell your insurance needs and not give the customer support you deserve. The staff will never be honest, and management always backs up the mistakes. AMENDMENT DATED JANUARY 5, 2018 As of the above review, Healthy Halo has continued sending [17] emails regarding my canceled policy with Anthem BSBC. This company is abusive, unprofessional, and should be compelled by the Federal government to stop using the HealthCare.com email system. Not only do I get really good service from her specifically, but Paul Diaz, in general, can find extremely competitive rates. I have both Auto and Home policies through Mercury and also insurance for rental properties through Safeco. Rates do go up yearly which seems to be uncontrollable, but overall I am happy and would recommend them.
