As a professional pianist, I've experienced many photo sessions in my life. However, it is known that to get the "right" image is very difficult. You are lucky if you get 1 picture that you love and that fits exactly what you hoped to get. With Gaby, it was a completely different experience! The end result is that I have a very hard time picking the shots that I don't like. Almost every picture could be used for my purpose. He has an incredible eye, taste, sense of proportion, creativity AND the most incredible set up with fantastic cameras, lenses, light and much much more. I loved being able to see the shots on a big screen right after each shot was made, it made my life as a model much easier as I could fix and learn from each shot. Gaby also set me up with an amazing make up artist that he found, helping me find just the right person for the project, out of a dozen possibilities. My first attraction toward his work was his incredible way to use light! Then I learned of his special tricks (being able to shoot few versions of me in one shot), something I have never seen before. So I was in the market for a photgraper. All I was looking for was simply taking a professional portrait in my law enforcement uniform. I have no experience on hiring a photographer so I was nervous as I've heard of horror stories. I called up Gaby and he was very professional and was flexible with his schedule even though it was last minute request. Gaby came off as very down to earth but professional! Once we got to the location he took time to survey the area we would be working with and seeing what was going to look best. Even though my intent was to do a simple portrait, Gaby made my photos tell a story! Yes! The pictures are amazing! The photo session went great. Gabby is by far the best photographer I've ever been with. The shoots are extremely professional and his equipment is top notch.
