Today was such a treat. It was my first time trying this restaurant and I am so glad that I did but, I'm a little angry with myself that it took me so long. Everything was wonderful from the second I stepped up to the counter. I informed the sweet lady at the counter it was my first time there and she was very patient with me while I was ordering and she answered all of my questions. Service was 10 out of 10. The food was AMAZING. It came out hot and fresh. Everything was absolutely delicious. The sauce for the egg rolls is absolutely perfect (I'd literally bathe in it if I could) my sandwich was great, the meat was fresh, juicy and flavorful, the hand cut fries were perfectly seasoned and had the right amount of crunch. The Brunswick stew was rich, savory, and sweet... I will definitely be coming back! Had the pleasure of sampling many of the tasty delights at Georgia BBQ last night for dinner. The redneck eggrolls were my favorite consisting of pulled pork and cabbage slaw fried in an egg roll dipped in Korean BBQ sauce ... sent straight from heaven ! The Master's egg rolls were scrumptious too with pulled pork and pimiento cheese fried in an egg roll dipped in pepper jelly. Also tried the rib sandwich which was so tender the meat fell off the bone as well as the pulled pork, stew, real french fries , slaw, baked beans and onion rings. I must say it ranks as one of the best BBQ meals I've ever had .. and let me just say I am no stranger to good BBQ. For dessert I tasted the banana pudding, strawberry cake and some sort of frothy Oreo cookie pudding delight . It was all pretty amazing! So do yourself a favor and make the drive over to Williamson just outside of Griffin Ga. and treat yourself to some awesome Ga BBQ! read more

Drove up in a tiny little car with CA plates and 4 mask-wearing folks. Walked into a packed restaurant w/o a single mask in sight. Immediately felt like fish out of water - and everyone noticed! Got up to the register to order our food, and we were greeted with a warm smile from one of the friendliest, most welcoming women I've met! The owner, maybe? She engaged us all in conversation, and we immediately felt welcomed and at ease. Fantastic experience, fantastic food - and amazing homemade desserts! Try the Oreo pudding. The food at the restaurant is great. Catering is a whole other story. We contracted them for our wedding. Our wedding was postponed a year due to COVID. We went from 80 guests to 40 guests. But they kept the cost the same. Which I tried to be understanding. Not what we had agreed to initially, but I understood they were experiencing a lot of inflation with food, and it was important to us to support small business. On the day of our wedding, they showed up 30 minutes later than agreed and DEMANDED payment upon arrival. We paid via venmo which gave us zero recourse. The appetizers for cocktail hour were cold. The food for dinner was lukewarm. They were supposed to cut and serve our cake. They cut and served maybe 20 pieces. The staff HOUNDED my coordinator for a tip. Thankfully my coordinator kept them away from my husband and I that evening to prevent them from also hounding us for a tip. Two hours before our reception ended, they packed up and took ALL OF OUR LEFTOVER THAT WE PAID FOR! They took my food!!!!! When I inquired with the owner a few days later, she bragged on herself, admitted she left early, gave zero apologies, expected gratuity and then ghosted me. Not at all professional. While this place has decent food it is not pocket-friendly. The portions are small and overpriced. Here is a picture of my salad. This was a "full" salad, not a side salad. It cost over five dollars. Sides were not included in the meal. The barbecue wasn't bad. In fact, it was actually good but I wouldn't go back. We are in town this week filming a tv show and as usual I am tired of eating our catering company food. This bbq place that has reportedly been around for years but often named other things caught my eye and I thought I would give it a try. I was greeted by some nice folks behind the counter who were nice enough to suggest the "redneck eggrolls". They were freaking delicious. Pulled pork and slaw fried in an egg roll served with a Korean BBQ sauce. I highly recommend trying these gems. I also tried pulled pork which was average with a good smokey flavor. Needs extra bbq sauce though. The Brunswick stew was about average typical stew. Had a pasty consistency. Not chunky with ingredients. The restaurant had plenty of parking and was clean. Self service drinks make it nice as well. The BBQ sauce was homemade and had a nice tang to it. I would definitely go back if I have the chance read more

Driving by and found by accident. It was a good find. Friendly service! Pulled pork was tender and some of the best we have had in Georgia. Banana pudding was excellent! Ice tea was wonderful! My only complaint would be the kids that were playing outside on a game was loud and uncontrolled which has nothing to do with the restaurant and all to do with poor parenting! I have a co-worker who raves about this place. Best Bar-B-que ever. I have eaten Bar-B-Que in every Southern state and a lot of others. I feel like I know what good Bar-B Que taste like. Of course sometimes it comes down to what you were raised on. The best Bar-B-que I have ever eaten has been in hole-in-the walls. Out of the way places that weren't trying to be anything but a good place to eat Bar-B-Que. I have driven by Ga BBQ many times, afraid to stop in, thinking I would be disappointed, because I am picky about my Bar-B-Que. I know it is in an old country store/filling station, so I thought it had to be good. I walked in and realized no matter how good the food was, this would be the last time I would step foot in this place. By far the gaudiest Bar-B-Que joint I have ever been in. Nothing county-store look about it. It was like they were trying to cater to every body's needs. No one theme. Lets just put as much obnoxious shit on the wall as we can, so that every body will identify with this place. And don't leave any wall space uncovered, no matter how stupid a sign sounds or how ridiculous anything looks. I went in to get a to-go order and was glad I did. The atmosphere is horrible. It took everything I had not to walk out without getting my food and taking the loss. I can't imagine how painful it would have been to sit in there and eat a meal. Although the people at the 2 tables that were occupied didn't seem to be squirming to much. I got my food and left as fast as I could. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I drove down the road and proceeded to eat my Bar-B-Que sandwiches, hoping that the tasting experience would far outshine the standing inside, waiting on my food experience. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the sandwich good, but I didn't have to pull off of the road on the way home with the squirts. I can't say it was the best Bar-B-Que I have ever eaten, but definitely not the worst. If you are going to eat in this place, don't expect to be eating in a true, Southern Bar-B=Que joint. Best BBQ on this side of dirt. Turkey ribs that will never leave you hungry. Redneck nachos that will keep your lips smacking. Great family atmosphere and good Ole southern charm. The kiddos will love the oreo pudding as well as those older grown kids as well too. But who cares about Grammer when you're fixin to wipe yo mouf with a napkin from the best bbq sauce within miles. Ribs were ok. Not seasoned at all. The pataoe was tough. Hard to cut. Obviously the beans were from a can with a little bbq sauce and small amt of meat added. Served in styrofoam cup! Mediocre.There was a heavy set lady talking sooooooo loud to customers for 35 mins that we couldn't hear each other talk. Sitting quite a distance away. Not everyone needed to hear her conversation!! She parked herself at a table of 8 and just visited. Didn't occur to her that these ppl going out to eat didn't Want her company. Needless to say when we were done they were too and it suddenly got quiet. No,music, lacks atmosphere. That woman was in her own little world. Ruined it for me. Never again. read more
