2 tennis courts w backboards (not shown), 4 pickleball courts
    Gina L.

I've come here to play tennis on weekends (morning/evening). There are 2 tennis courts, 2 backboards, and 4 pickleball courts, all pretty new. Lots of parking, decent view of Camelback, and some trees that slowly produce shade on the courts nearing sunset. There are huge lights that automatically turn on in the evenings. Getting a free court is kinda a toss up, but it's usually full after the sun sets. Nice dirt walking/biking path (Arizona Canal Trail) along the water, lots of grassy shaded area to lay a blanket, as well as two sand volleyball courts (bring your own net though). Check out Arizona Falls on the other side of the parking lot to learn about hydroelectricity where it smells kinda fishy!

Since I was already out of the car for the Arizona Falls (btw, don't miss that on the other end of the parking lot), my group decided to walk on over here to this little park. What's not to love? Big trees, tennis courts, volleyball, a big expanse of grass for your dog (I saw a few, just don't have one myself). You can even access this park via a walk on the canal. I don't think I'd enjoy it in the heat of the summer (July or August), but in February, this was a perfect little park to enjoy the outdoors for a few minutes.

    Tennis courts!

Hands-down the busiest tennis center in the Valley for decades…read more When the Prudhomme family took over the City contract to operate this public tennis center some 25 years ago, no one beyond the family had a similar vision of fruition. Now, as a mecca for competitive and recreational tennis, you might think the family would put their feet up and rest. Hardly. They garnered support to build more courts and put in a sports bar, making it an entertainment tennis destination. Where is the ping pong table? Let's have a beer and play! High school championships - here. Junior college championships - here. This is tip of the iceberg in respect to who they bring in and service here. The entire city benefits from the domino effect of tax revenue initiated and brought in by the Prudhommes. And, truly it's a family venture. An always expanding family at that. NOTE: read my other numerous reviews for tips, entertainment, and historic references. Thank you, Tim B.

There's lots of other activities spots too - baseball/softball fields, open fields for grass volleyball/football, basketball courts, playground, and walking paths. But I only care about the beach courts. The City of Scottsdale is routinely known for all the above with SRP courts- which is why they are always in high demand. #FirstWorldProblem There are 6 doubles courts with provided lines, lights, and ramadas with tables in the walkway between Courts 1&2 and Courts 3-6. Seriously, they know what they're doing here. A couple of years ago I called the Parks office to rent courts for my birthday volleyball tourney and the guy I spoke with indicated that they know they're good. If they aren't reserved, it's truly a toss up whether you can claim a court or not (even during summer). I only wish that other towns/cities could build as good courts in bulk much closer to me so the drive would be better, but a las.. I still end up at SRP weekly.

This place have 4 fields, with a shack shop. This looks like home of Scottsdale Little League. The field could take some maintenance, especially outfield. The facility offers restrooms, plenty of kids' park and play areas. Also, this place has plenty of Tennis courts and volleyball courts. This place is perfect for family day at park. Parking around the parks are plenty with a small lake and plenty of goose

This park is fantastic!!!…read more The bigger kid area is very advanced and has high slides and complex rock climbing. (Beware for younger kids, definitely keep yours eyes on them!) This also has more swings than I've seen at any other park! Plenty of baby swings and regular swings! The bigger jungle gym is covered so yay for shade! The smaller jungle gym is NOT covered and is very sunny! The smaller kid area is a little closer to the road and parking lot and an oddly long distance from the bigger jungle gym. Small kid area is still useable by older park playing kids unlike most others I've seen! This place has other amenities, I'm just not sure what else! At least 4 sand volley ball courts and a few tennis courts from what you can see from the park. Lots of shade for picnic or group events as well!
