Had a need for assembly of a 10x10 gazebo to be installed on my back deck. Unfortunately, I had measured incorrectly as we found the deck to be around 2 inches too small for the gazebo. I am sure some assembly crews may have said "can't do", but Emerson sized up the challenge and made it happen through creative thinking. The gazebo was installed properly and can barely see where the necessary modifications were made to make it work! I was impressed! Additionally, when the assembly was done, he cleaned everything up and replaced all things on the deck to exactly as they were prior to his involvement. Next time I have any construction or handy man service needed, I'll be calling Emerson again. read more

I had an old mailbox that needed to be replaced. Sadly the nuts and the bolts were so corroded that I could not remove them quickly. I reached out to G Pundrich on a Wednesday and he was there within 24 hours. He gave me a flat rate so there was no question of how much this was going to cost. His price was reasonable and I appreciate the no-nonsense. He let me know when he was coming and finished the work quickly. I paid him (he accepts cash and check FYI) and that was it. Emerson was awesome! I had another electrician cancel same day, and I was really wanting to make sure my ceiling fan for my son's room was installed. It has been so hot and he hasn't been sleeping well. He was able to come right away! He made sure I felt comfortable that he was attaching everything directly to a stud as I was nervous that the light fixture wouldn't hold. He cleaned up and was on his way. Emerson was phenomenal! He showed up prepared and I ended up adding to my project. He is very detailed oriented and goes above and beyond. He would let me know if there was something more he could do if it was beneficial to me. I never felt like he was trying to just drive up "the ticket" everything he did was relevant and appreciated! He even pressure-washed my windows and door while doing my gutters. I will use him every time as long as I have the need! My experience with Emerson exceeded my expectations!!! It's a rare, pleasant surprise when everything is resolved without set-backs!! He installed 4 large ceiling lights - one was moved 2 feet. After the light was moved, he patched the ceiling (plaster, which can chip) and it looks AMAZING. He determine WHY paint was chipping off of a door and it's frame and resolved the cause.
