Maybe next time, when I can bring a cooler! We ended up getting a milk chocolate chip cookie, cream cheese cookie, plain butter tart, pecan butter tart and a cheesecake cookie dough bar. The cream cheese cookie was by far my favourite thing we got. So much so, I'm currently looking up recipes on how to make cream cheese cookies lol. The butter tart was delicious but omg sooo sweet. I really should not have ate the whole thing at once because it was a little much lol. Note, only eat half in a day lol. I wasn't a fan of the cheesecake cookie bar. I love cheesecake but I didn't love the blend with the cookie. I'm sure someone else would like this but it wasn't to my tastebuds' liking. Finally, the milk chocolate chip cookie was perfect. Warmed up for 10 seconds made it even better. Has a bit of a crunch on the outside with an ooey gooey chewy centre. A perfect cookie. All items cost around $20, which I think is fair as we got 5 items. The woman helping us was extremely kind and friendly, which took this review to 5 stars. She was so sweet. I'll be sure to stop by again when I'm around NOTL again.

It was $1/ear of corn, so comparable to a suburban farmer's market. A scoop of ice cream was $6/7! And of course, the less expensive option, soft serve machine was broken. :( I suspect this place is more of a tourist trap than a place frequented by locals.

From what I can tell, it's a real farmer's market selling produce from actual farms. It has a nice vibe. However, it's not affordable in any way. Ears of corn were $1ea, Beefsteak Tomatoes were $2ea. Maybe worth it to get some special ingredients, but not for your regular week's haul. It does have a nice vibe with live music. The rest of the parking is open as usual, so there's free parking.

Each year I come here (and I've been visiting since it first started, around 2011 or so), there's always something new and unique to see. The market is held in the parking lot right next door to the LCBO (at Elmwood and Lakeshore), and consists of a good 20 or so vendors. It may not be as big as the City Centre Farmers' Market, but there's always plenty of selection. My favorite things are the Artisan's Row section (where local artists and craftsmen offer their works at some really good prices), the La Villa Bakery tent where you can buy freshly-made pastries (don't tell Johnny that I've pigged out on the egg croissants more than once) and the local hot dog vendor. Not to mention that there's usually live entertainment, workshops and plenty of unique things like artisan jams, soap, homemade condiments and much more. It's one of my favorite places to visit in the village during the summer for many reasons, not the least of which being that I know a lot of the people who work with the Port Credit BIA and enjoy catching up with them. Ellen and the team always do a great job, and the market has proven to be a sort of unofficial weekly meeting place for people all throughout the village. If you haven't checked it out yet, you're doing yourself a disservice. Come check it out one of these weekends (up until the beginning of October). I guarantee you'll find something you like. Highly recommended.
