Looking at the temporaries just put in yesterday (implants will not be done until July as full healing takes four to six months) it is hard to believe the final product will look and feel better than these! Going in, I was convinced I was going to need major dental work. To my surprise, I didn't have any cavities or root canals, just a regular cleaning. The hygienist definitely had her work cut out for her after so many years, but she was gentle and never made me feel judged. About halfway through my cleaning, I unexpectedly had an anxiety attack and started crying. I have a longstanding fear of the dentist because of an experience I had as a child, and it all just hit me at once. I was so embarrassed. The way the staff responded is the reason I'm writing this review. They immediately stopped what they were doing, checked on me, brought me water, and gave me all the time I needed to calm down. Several of the women came in to make sure I was okay, and one of them even offered to turn on the TV to help distract me. Every single person treated me with so much kindness, patience, and compassion. Not once did I feel rushed or judged. If you've been putting off going to the dentist because of anxiety or fear, I genuinely recommend this office. They made what could have been a terrible experience feel safe and supportive, and I'm actually not dreading my next appointment. Thank you to everyone there for treating me with such genuine care. My father entered the dental program at Rutgers needing roughly $6000 in dental work. The students…read morewe worked with were informative and helpful, and were excellent advocates for my father's dental health. The instructors who supervised them were unprofessional and in constant conflict with each other and their students. My father's plan of care changed with every visit, and after one year in the program my father needed $17,000 in restorative dental work. The attendings also never made note of an escalating neurological condition that should not have allowed my father to spend long hours in a dental chair, he is now in a wheelchair after 2 spinal surgeries. Rutgers offered us a $250 refund and nothing more and my father is in a wheelchair. Use this program at your own risk.

I was a nervous wreck and I must say Dr. Adams is the "sugar honey ice tea" he kept me calm, alert, and made me laugh. I felt like he didn't do much - I felt no pain!!!
