I stopped by Santa Ana Smog Test Only place (1502 Eldinger. 1501 Eldinger is also owned by the same owner) down the road first, but I had a TERRIBLE experience with their tech, Mike, who had a terrible attitude and told me that his price was the best one in town, and I wouldn't find it anywhere else. Best price with a bad customer service? Well, No Thanks! So, I left! I stopped by this place. Jorge (if I remember his name correctly) matched the price of the other place. I was in and out in less than 10 mins. I highly recommend this place if you like good customer service like I do. It was fast also. The best thing was No Attitude!!! You can tell how the owner conducts his or her business by the way his or her employee treats you! This place has earned my business. Thank you for a great customer service! I will recommend you to others, and return next year!!! read more

G Auto Care - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Santa Ana, California

I went in for brakes/steering wheel issue. Car works better than before. However, when I got home I noticed my back passenger door had 2 dents in it. It was not from another car door bumping into it but actual dents at 2 different heights. Something heavier and with force caused it. Took it back to the shop for an explanation, and a repair or refund. The shop denied ever having anything to do with it. Now I'm stuck with a possible $200 repair if I can't fix it myself. Needless to say, im very upset. Not coming back. read more

DO NOT go here for smog checks. I asked for the cost of the smog check and the guy said $59.75. I thought it was high and we discussed how the price of smog inspections have gone up over the years. He said if I paid cash, he would charge me $60 even. I only had a credit card and thought, he's only deducting a portion of the tax to pay cash? I didn't look closely at the final cost because I didn't have my glasses and thought it said $60 when I paid. However, when I saw my receipt after getting home, I saw they charged me $8.25 for "parts". What "parts" are used in a smog inspection?! RIDICULOUS HIDDEN FEES!!! read more

I've had them do multiple services and repairs on my vehicle. Always great service and good prices.

I've been taking my trucks and cars to Joe for years, and will continue coming here for many more. They do a great job smogging vehicles. I always call beforehand so I'm not waiting in a long line of customers. I arrive, wait 10-15 minutes, and I'm done. I generally check the vehicles a week or two beforehand, ensuring that they are in order and have no CEL (check engine lights) or codes. This makes it so much easier for all involved. Great place, very professional, and nice to top it off. read more

The time was getting closer that my DMV registration was due. I looked at the paper before going to pay it and saw that, in fact, was supposed to have a smog test done. Oh no! I started calling around and called Rapidito Smog. I was amazed at how nice the customer service was. I was asked if I found them on Yelp. I stated I did, and he said there was a special going on. I was quoted $30 cash including the smog certificate being sent to DMV. I said thank you and went right over. Everywhere else I called stated between $40-$70 for my 2006 PT Cruiser. I couldn't believe it. They were working on one other car and apologized for the wait, stating it would be approximately 20 minutes. The wait was less than that and they finished my car very quickly. I then paid what I was quoted and went on my way. Quick, easy, painless... The way it is supposed to be. Thank you very much Rapidito Smog! read more

Good price $30 smog on my 2001 Prius! And they were quick to start and finish, everywhere else was about $40 to $70! Highly recommended read more

They fixed up my tire real quick. I came in on a Saturday because the tire pressure light was on. Couldn't find the hole and the tire pressure was going down slowly. They are located behind the buildings. When I brought my car over to the other side they helped me right away. The first did the soapy water pray test but no bubbles. They quickly deduced that it was the ball stem. After spraying some water over it, they were correct. The ball stem was actually cracked down the middle. They quickly replaced it for me and I was out. Nice guys. read more

Awesome and great staff! Owner is professional and their service is quick. My 2nd car smogged here and will be a customer for life!

Thank you! Great service and great price. I was only in here for 15 minutes during rush hour.

Came in this morning for a smog. I believe it was Luis who greeted me and shook my hand. Never have i experience this great type of customer service from a smog or mechanic place. He smogged my car in about 15 mins. There was another car before me. I really liked the service and how its really priced well. This place will be my new smog place from now on. The place is nice and super clean. This place is worth the 5 stars!!! Listen to the great reviews, you wont be disappointed. I found this place by just going on yelp. This place is a diamond in the rough!! A+!!! read more

Jose is the man! Friendly and fast. I took my car in to get a smog check. I was out of there in 15 minutes. It was only $30.

I was a loyal client elsewhere prior, but since a change of ownership occurred there, I've been on the hunt for a smog place. This is it. I found my new smog shop. I stopped by during my lunch break to ask if they truly honored the prices listed online/Yelp check-in. I was greeted by Luis and he ensured me that the special price listed on the website would of course be honored. He offered to take my car right away, but I told him of my dilemmas: 1. But Luis, I walked here and my car is across the street. My lunch break is almost over and I won't make it back in time. He tells me: Oh, no problem, how about I drive you there and take your car back? Oh! Yay! 2. Wait... but no, I don't have my smog certification paper with me. It's at home. :( Answer: That's ok, I can look up your info by your car. It's a bit more work, but I'm happy to do it for you. Everything went as Luis had planned. After work, I walked back to get my car, paid the invoice (special price is cash-only), and I am all set to receive my registration in the mail soon. Yay! Thank you, Luis! read more
