They gave me a fair estimate and even pointed out that I would be better off cutting them down myself to save money and they would grind the stumps. I followed their advice and was very happy with the grinding. There was very little trace of the trees when they were completed. This year we needed a large conifer removed from the front of our house. It was in a precarious position and they were quick to respond and remove the tree for me. The 3 man crew worked quickly and cleaned up everything before leaving. Nice, professional gentlemen running the truck and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Nye's.

They do a lot of advertising so I guess that's where a lot of it goes. Also there's extra cost of having a person just for giving estimates. Downsides could be details not conveyed to the crew or having to explain it again. On the plus side, they were available fairly quickly. Or is that a bad thing? I guess if you have an emergency and need tree work done right away and money is not a priority, give them a call. But if you have time, always get multiple quotes and check their insurance and licenses, don't just trust their word.

On the second he removed, to the ground, a 45' tall Alianthus (Tree of "Paridise"), and three 30' tall Box Elders. They also significantly cleaned up and unweighted a diseased Siberian Elm tree to remove dead branches and excessive growth. Their equipment is modern and professional and Braden climbs right up into the trees to get where he needs to be to do his job. The pricing is competitive and they are reliable.
