The Indian guy behind the counter was extremely nice, and we even had a lil chat about how credit card companies charge businesses a percentage to use their services. He told me that small business around Perris don't usually take AmeX. While sitting in my car for a bit, right out front in a green "20 Minute Parking" spot, I noticed that several people were going in and out. Seemed like a very popular place. If this place gets a lot of business from the locals, Smoke n Gifts must be doing something right. CIGARS I also noticed that they sell around 8 different types of cigars for around $7ish bucks. "Punch" and some "Churchill's" were what I noticed from a quick glance, not sure about the quality, though they didn't seem like they were in any type of Humidor :/ They have a lot of interesting stuff in there, like a variety of smoking accessories and even hunting knives. Overall, it seemed like an okay place. The person that I got the cigs for said that this place might have been a little pricey for American Spirits, but all I can really say is that the customer service was cool, with plenty of interesting smoking accessories, and it seemed like a popular place for the locals...

Even if he felt that way, why express it. I don't know Rachel but I'm so sorry this sub-human treated you that way. Be a professional. I believe in diversity so I am not with that. So many cool-ass people from varying races. Racism is born of fear. Get some backbone! *Btw, Yelp - don't push, I'll write as much as I feel I need to. I found the cashier totally normal and run-of-the-mill on the phone and the service I received was just okay. I sensed a little frustration from him, especially when I did not read a sign that instructed not to touch the lighters that were within reach. Luckily, I have advice and I'm not being sarcastic: If you aren't interested in the customer to handle items simply keep them out of reach. You see, in an environment where you hope for a person(s) liking for a product you sell, you do not want to have an authoritarian air about you or the business. That one thing stood out and left a bad taste. Be generic, have great behavioural hygiene, and gosh-darnit, act grateful for customers that step into your business. There is a way to do it with class and respect that garners the respect right back at you.
