The site hours are not always consistent, I usually drop off recycle items on a Saturday before…read more12pm. I attempted to drop off at 2pm this last Saturday only to find them closed. While the site is nothing to brag about it's the only site within a 30 mile radius where you can do recycling. They require glass to be separated based on colors and will remove anything not reflecting a CA recycle tag but that is to be expected. The employees are primarily Spanish speaking but that have no impact on conducting business. Parking can be a bit tricky since multiple businesses are located within the main building. If your vehicle is large then turn around in the lot may be challenging. I will try to add photos and revise the phone number that no longer appears to be working...though that may have been intentional. Hope this helps other locals out.

Before they used to put recyclables on the conveyor belt so the exact amount was visible and reflected in the return via receipt. Now they use one of crappy industrial weights, write down the alleged amount on a piece of paper and you get what you get. I took in an amount that had been accumulating for almost a year. Would have amounted to 250-300 dollars via their prior process. Got 185 bucks. Don't waste your time. This place is no longer any better than the rest and they'll try to chisel you.

That way you can dispute the weight they tell you. The last trip I made, to a different recycling location, an honest one, was less and I was paid almost twice as much. This happened to me another time at this location a couple years ago. I hoped it had changed but still the same here. They will short you if they can. I won't trust them again. Dishonest business.

(Luckily I know a little Spanish) Asking who gave me permission to use the cans and "I said sorry" then he told me he's going to take lunch and I was there at 2pm. I was literally the only customer, then when he paid me he shorted me ten extra dollars. I will no longer be going to this place. I recommend A&S metals better. They scam people.
