This is a really great lake. The water is so clear and there are many easy ways to access the lake…read more There's an FKK (Nudist) section and also a clothed section. You can cross the lake on a ferry to an island which is worth doing. The ferry costs €4 return (cash) and runs quite frequently until 6pm. On the island there is a Biergarten serving very traditional food and drinks. They take cash but also PayPal. Take your insect repellant!

I took my first walk around this beautiful little lake in 1981 with meine Freundin and have come back to visit many times since. It was a bit less nicely developed back in the day, but just as charming. This past week I enjoyed both cafes and their beers and food. It is so nice to see this idyllic spot continue to improve. If you are looking for a spot to escape the city and enjoy a little nature with water, then my favorite little lake will suit you just fine.
