Went here to get my eyes checked for a new pair of glasses…read more The doctor was nice and I ended up buying a pair of glasses from them. Their front end clerks could use a lesson in customer service, however. First, I dropped by 9am one Thursday morning to pick up my glasses and no one was there. A complete waste of time spent driving across town. The shop hours on google indicate they are open 9am-5pm? Opening late is not professional. Second, I finally found time to go back and pick up the glasses. The clerk brought them out and asked if I wanted to try them on. Obviously, they are new and they may need adjustments. Then I asked if they had any cleaner because they were dirty. She referred me to the cleaning cloth in the accompanying case. I said, usually when you buy new glasses the shop cleans them for you. She replied "we did clean them". Obviously you did not, because I would not have asked had they been clean. There are tons of glasses shops in Windsor. Choose wisely!

I discovered not only had I been given glasses for nearsightedness when I'm farsighted but I've been wearing glasses and contacts that were way too strong and I didn't even need for the last 18 years! My former optometrist's office would pressure me into regular eye exams stating that I had impending eye disease and Dr. Guthrie assured me this was not the case. He took the time to answer all of my questions and I was never pressured into purchasing anything. I will be seeing Dr. Guthrie from now on!
