They showed up right on time with four crew members and a trainee. The entire team worked efficiently and effectively splitting up the work among themselves. The trainee worked side by side with the master electrician who explained things to him and had him do small odds and ends. The entire team was very respectful and courteous. They did not lollygag and completed the job in the time frame as promised. We had high hopes of them finishing the job in one day but they had to finish up for half a day the next day (as agreed upon pet contract) They installed several hi-hats, replaced/installed four ceiling fans, modified and or upgraded light switches, upgraded existing electrical work in my garage. We pointed out one snafu and they quickly agreed to correct it as it was stated in the proposal. Honestly having four of the hi-hats on the same switch really didn't make much of a difference to us. There was an electrical issue with our halfway light and with our front porch light/sconces on the garage door. They immediately came out the next day to rectify that problem as well. MJK s very professional and I felt very confident about them from the estimate to the very end of the job. I would not recommend any other electrician and look forward to using them again soon.

Brian clearly explained what was going on and confirmed that nothing in my house was causing the issue. He was professional, calm, and clearly very knowledgeable. To my surprise, he wouldn't even charge me for diagnosing the problem. That level of honesty is rare and deeply appreciated. This company is honest, quick, and truly looks out for the customer. And, in doing it the installer was on time, polite, cleaned up the mess, personable, etc. The price bid by "My Electrical Genie" was offered right away - they were the first to respond to my listing. And they responded with a price. Others didn't respond with a price even though my project was very specific, simple, and with pictures! The price was good in my opinion and notably far below the rip-off price proposed by another. I thought that getting the low price meant I wouldn't get the best of options for the install. I figured the "swag" wire coming from over the door sill would have to remain. But he got the wire hidden above the ceiling with just one hole that he patched up perfectly! I figured I'd have to repaint the ceiling, but he said, "Maybe not." It dried perfectly white like the rest of my ceiling! I don't have to repaint. I can't see where the hole he made was! I've owned my home for over two decades, and this has been the best project ever.

What they discovered that time was that the kitchen was not wired up to code and we literally had a fire hazard in the walls. Evidently done by a shotty contractor when the kitchen was remodeled. Justin and Jerimi worked on for hours and then put on on the priority list for the next day to finish the job. We've had them back two more times to install more lighting and fix outlets. These guys are top notch and they work fast and with minimal damage to your property when installing wiring. They clean up and repair any holes they have to make, to the point where you can't tell they've been there. I would recommend them 100%. They do it right the first time. They are top dog in my book.

I had to me what was a somewhat complex case and the guy came out and was able to diagnose the problems and give me a range of solutions depending on my budget. I appreciated the range of options that I was given. The electricians were friendly, professional and did not "dilly-dally" around. There was no talking on cell phone, eating, etc to run up the hourly charge, they got in and out. When diagnosing an issue I overhead a phone conversation from the electrician's boss to the electrician telling him to get back to it so not to run up the customers bill. I appreciated this. Meh I have not used an electrician in a while so I don't have a good bellwether on prices but $1.5k to fix 3 outside sockets and to rewire a microwave to the junction box seemed high. I could be wrong here but that's just my gut. I tried to get an estimated price from the company even after their first inspection but they were unable to quote me a ballpark figure other than the standard call out fee ($130) and hourly charge ($140). The bad Some of the charges were a bit ticky-tak. For example they charged me $40 for the outside electrical socket (as they should) but they then charged another $30 just for the plastic cover. Come on thats BS and felt like a "fu$$-you" charge. Also there were a lot of $2-5 charges just for what should be considered very very minor shop supplies. Would I used them again Yes I would.
